Chapter 4

Me, Tyler and Carmen went into Liam's room; we were having a meeting. Dennis came in and made Sapphire go home and us all go out and into our rooms. I stayed with Tyler though. Dennis still scared me. Only the people from Burnywood know that Dennis used to hit me. I was terrified that Lizanne would tell everyone. It was never put in my file so nobody here knows. Except Rick, Kitty, Lizanne and of course Tyler. He was the one who comforted me through it all. At one point I completely broke down and he helped me get better. I was really scared now for two reasons: one, Dennis was back, two, Lizanne could tell everyone what had happened. I knew Tyler, Rick or Kitty wouldn't tell anyone but we all hated Lizanne. I've tried to keep out of her way so she doesn't have anything against me. Dennis burst through the door of Tyler and Rick's bedroom. He immediately looked at me. I went and stood right next to Tyler our sides touching.
"Why are you in here!? I told you to go to your own rooms!" He stepped forward.
This scared me and he knew it. He took another step. I yelped and hid behind Tyler. He took another step and I started crying.
"Leave her alone." Tyler said, protecting me.
"Don't tell me what to do!" He shouted at Tyler.
I jumped and grabbed hold of Tyler's arm,
"Ty, I'm scared," I said so quietly that only he could hear.
Dennis once again took another step forward. I did the only thing I could thing of,
"MIKE!" I shouted at the top of my voice.
Mike ran into the room after like 30 seconds but not before Dennis got the chance to punch me in the face. Tyler turned around and gave me a hug while I cried into his shoulder.
"What is it?" Mike asked.
"Rick punched her." Dennis said.
"No he didn't!" I shouted.
"Willow, stop lying."
"She isn't lying." Tyler and Rick said at the same time.
"Yes she is," Dennis said, "Rick, you're grounded for two weeks."
Dennis and Mike left.
"Rick, I'm so sorry." I said.
"Don't worry it's not your fault," He said giving me a hug.
"If I hadn't shouted for Mike he wouldn't have grounded you."
"If you hadn't shouted for Mike he would have beat you up. I'd rather be grounded than have you beat up."
"Thanks" I said.
I sat on Tyler's bed and started crying again. Tyler gave me a hug and I cried into his shoulder.
