Chapter 5

I was so glad that Rick had forgiven me for making him get grounded. I can't believe Dennis told Mike that Rick punched me. I mean I can believe it but I'm annoyed at him. My eye really hurt.
"Everyone's going to think I hit girls." Rick said.
"No, ill say we were play fighting and you accidentally hit me harder than you meant to," I said, still crying.
"Yeah, that's a good idea," Tyler said.
Tyler gave me another hug and I was glad of it. I needed him right now. He knows I'm terrified of Dennis. When I get scared Tyler is the only person who can completely calm me down. Some people can calm me down a bit but not completely. We went downstairs to have tea. It was ravioli. It was one of my favourites. At first Tracy was the only adult in the room, then Dennis walked in. I tensed up and Tyler grabbed hold of my hand and squeezed it. I think Tracy noticed. Dennis noticed too. He kept standing near me on purpose. So both me and Tyler had to eat tea with one hand because he knew that if he let go of my hand I would have a panic attack. Tracy definitely noticed and I knew she would ask me about it.
