After my lunch date with my two favorite people , I headed back to the office. Bailey fell asleep on the way back , but Odell wasn't ready to end our time together.
" Babe she's tired just take her home and let her rest. She usually naps around this time anyway and she'll only sleep for an hour. I'll be home around 4 that's just 2 hours from now you'll be fine."
He rolled his eyes and kissed me before I got out of the truck. I walked back into the building and Cedes was back and she had RJ with her. He was such a cute little boy and so smart.

" Well hello their handsome how are you.?"
He looked up from his game and smiled at Me jumping up to hug me.
" Hi Tia Delaney , I missed you."
" Hi RJ ' I missed you too how are you?"
" I'm good , glad I'm spending the day with mommy I missed her."
I smiled because if there's one thing I know about him it's how much he loves Mercedes.
" She missed you to she couldn't stop talking about you."
He smiled and went back to playing his game. I walked into my office and Cedes was sitting at my desk with papers in her hand.
She looked up at me and she had tears in her eyes. I dropped my bags and ran over to her side.
" Cedes look at me what happened what's wrong ?"
She wiped her eyes and handed me the papers. I read over the papers and couldn't believe ahah I was reading.
" He doesn't want custody anymore ? That's awesome isn't it ! Why are you crying ?"
" Because I can't believe it , he's put me Through hell the last 4 months and for nothing !"
" What made him change his mind ?"
" He got a record deal ! He's gonna be on the road a lot he can't afford to drag RJ everywhere with him."
While I didn't agree with Ronnie's choices I was glad that the hell was over for her. I do not know how Ronnie could just Up and leave , I want to believe it's so he can build a better future for his son.
" God is so good all the time."
This was the truest statement , he had been so good to me. He brought me Odell, Bailey, and now my new little blessing. I rubbed my belly and smiled.
" When are you going to tell Odell about the baby Delaney ?"
I snapped outta my day dream and whipped my head around looking at Cedes.
" Excuse Me ?"
" Delaney I'm your best friend , you don't think I've noticed your eating habits picking up. Or the fact that you are Extra moody on some days"
" I just found out a few days ago. I just idk Cedes."
" Why don't you know ? Do you remember how he felt when he found out you were pregnant the first time ?"
" Omg Cedes like it was yesterday , we were on the beach he lit up like a kid in the candy store."
" So why wouldn't be he be excited about this baby then ? You are his wife Delaney, and you already have one beautiful baby together."
" I don't want him to lose focus."
She closed my laptop picked up my bag , handed me my keys and pushed me towards the door.
" Go home and tell your husband about the new blessing."
I rolled my eyes and pushed my hair behind my ear and smiled. I waved and blew kisses , I walked out to the car and sat in the seat. I just sat there for a minute I really wasn't sure if I was going to keep the baby. But abortion is out of the question , and my life is to in the public Odell would find out.
I pulled out of the garage and started on my way home. My cell started ringing and I connected it through the Bluetooth.
" Hello my beautiful daughter." I smiled hearing my moms voice.
" Hey mom how you doing ? I was just about to call you."
" Great minds think alike LoveBug . How is work ?"
" I just left the office for the day but work was good, I am about to go home to my babies."
" Tell my granddaughter and son in law I said hello. What's up baby girl you sound stressed out."
I sighed it was amazing how much she could read me. " Mom I'm pregnant"
She screamed with joy and I laughed turning the volume down.
" Finally! I've been waiting for you to tell me, I had a dream about a fish and I knew !"
I rolled my eyes at her beliefs , she was such a weirdo sometimes.
" Omg Laney I am so excited ! How far along are you?"
" Couple months , but I just found out I had no clue. Now I am worried because I don't know how to tell Odell."
" He loves you and Bailey he worships the ground that the two of you walk on, do you remember how excited he was when he found out about Bailey. Maybe this time you'll get your boy ! You have to tell him Delaney he's your husband ! Oh I can't Wait to tell your sister and father !"
She was right, above all else Odell was a great father.
" I love you Ma . I just pulled up to the house I'm gonna call you later."
" I Love You To Delaney."
I disconnected the call and grabbed all of my stuff. I walked into the house and Bailey was chasing CoCo around the house trying to put a dress on her.'
" Bailey leave her alone she doesn't wanna play dress up."
" But Mommy please ?"
I laughed and shook my head, I hung my keys up on the hook and walked into the living room. Odell was watching practice videos on the tv. He had a playoff game against Green Bay this weekend and it was all he could focus on. I walked over to him and kissed the side of his face.
" Hey Babe" I sat down throwing my legs into his lap, he smiled leaning over to kiss me.
Immediately his focus was back on the game. I couldn't tell him now, I'll tell him after the game on Saturday it'll be our way to celebrate.
