We pulled up to Dell's favorite restaurant and he smiled. He stepped out and opened the door for me, he helped me out of the car and handed the valet the keys. I called ahead and told them that we were coming so that we would have some privacy. We entered through the back and went up to the private room alone.
" We are celebrating a loss but anytime that I can spend with you is always amazing. We had a good season babe , now I can go and have fun at the pro bowl and then enjoy my off season with my girls."
" You had a great season daddy and I am so proud of you. I am proud of all of my boys. But I am so looking forward to spending time with you and Bailey."
" I hate to bring this up while we are at dinner , but I saw it all over your face earlier. I don't want these girls baby I do that just to keep them happy because they are fans."
" I know how you are about your fans. I guess I'll just never get used to woman throwing themselves at my husband all the time."
He moved closer to me and kissed me slowly , I wrapped my hands in his hair and kissed him back. I pulled away and he smiled.
" I love you Mrs.Beckham."
" I Love You More Mr.Beckham."
We ordered our food , we talked and laughed. I told the chef that I wanted to tell him in a fortune cookie that we were having a baby. I wrote a cute little message and gave it to him. The waitress brought the cookie to us.
" The chef is preparing a special desert for the two of you. So please enjoy these fortune cookies while you wait."
It wasn't corny because it was an Asia restaurant.
While he opened the cookie I pulled the sonogram out of my bag. I had it framed with my due date on it. 10.28.2017.
He opened the cookie and the fortune said " & Then There were Four."
He looked up at me and I handed him the picture frame. His whole facial expression changed from confusion to pure happiness. He slid out of the booth and picked me up spinning me around.
" Are You serious Delaney ! I'm gonna be a daddy again !"
He spun me around and kissed me . I giggled and kissed him softly.
" Yes baby you are going to be a daddy again."
He put me down and rubbed my belly " Maybe this time I'll get my boy. I am so happy baby I can't wait to meet our new little blessing. Have you told anyone else ?"
" I told my mom because I was nervous about telling you."
" Nervous ! Baby we are a family you are my wife this is a blessing and I couldn't be more happy."
I was ecstatic that he was so happy. The chef brought us a beautiful desert and I was in heaven. I could eat whatever I wanted with no need for excuses now. We finished our dinner and headed back to the house. When we got there the girls were asleep on the couch and my mom was cleaning the kitchen. We walked into the kitchen and she looked up at us and smiled.
" My beautiful parents to be. Congratulations son I am so happy for both of you. Your dad said he wouldn't settle for if not being a boy this time."
We both laughed and hugged my mother. I told her that she could keep Braelyn here and I'd bring her home in the morning. She thanked me and went home. I carried Bailey up to her bedroom and Odell carried Brae.
" Soon enough we are going to be doing this every night."
I wrapped my hands around his waist as we watched them sleep and smiled. He was right this would be our life soon enough and I couldn't wait for it. This offseason is going to be a great time for us to spend time as a family and giving Bailey all the attention she wants before she has to share us.
