The Naughty Babysitter

"...How about we try something girl.."

The next day at school let me tell you Danny heard all about what happened with dinner with Kyle. 

"Well then Megan are you guys going to make things official?" Danny whispers clearly not listening to the lecture the teacher was giving. 

"I don't know. It was just a  kinda romantic dinner. We hang out almost every weekend.  I feel bad sometimes because he is with me on a Friday night and not with his friends.  This weekend he told me that he wanted to go hang out with some friends and he wants me to come with him. He wants me to start friending his friends, but I don't know because we were going to do something this weekend weren't we?" I look over at Danny then back up at the bourd. 

" I mean yeah but Megan. One of the hottest most popular guys in this school wants you to meet all of his friends. Bitch go with him. We can do something Saturday or something." He says. 

"No because they all drink an get high and smoke. That stuff. And if I hang with them I could go back to my old ways Danny . The stuff I did with Henry is the same stuff all of his friends do. I don't really wanna go back to my old ways. So I am going to tell Kyle that I already had some plans with you. I am just watching out for myself ." I whisper back. 

"Okay. You do you boo. Just know if I wa in your shoes I would way rather be with him them me, I'm lame." He smiles at me and I hit his arm lightly. He rolls his eyes and looks at the bourd. 

My phone vibrates in my pocket. I pull it out without taking my eyes off of the teacher.   Look down at my phone as the teacher turns her back to us. It's from Kyle. 

'You better be talking about me' 

I look around and notice him out in the hall. 

'Stalking me now???'

'😘 nope just walked by and saw you not paying attention and talkin to Danny'

'Whatever go to class'

I look at him and slip my phone back into my pocket. Then I turn my head and pay attention to the teacher until the bell. 

I looked over at Danny right when the bell rang. "I don't really wanna friend his friends. Your my friend and I really only need you to be my friend.  His friends will get me  back into the things I used to do.  Also, if I fell back into the things that I used to do what would be the purpose that I have a babysitter.  So If I were to go out with him to hang with friends or whatever  and we  end up doing things I used to do and my parents find out.  He won't be able to be my -air quotes-babysitter."

Danny puts a hand on his heart, "first off I am Rey flattered to be the only friend you need. And second Megan. How about you try something new and tell your parents that I wanted to spend the weekend with you   Also you should tell them you think he should get a break and go spend time with his friends for once. Then you can come over to my house." He says. With a hopeful smile. 

"Okay loser first off talk to your folks. And then you and I can both go up to my parents and pitch the idea. Sound good?" I tell him.  And he nods ready to change the subject. 

"I'll ask then at dinner tonight. Now speaking  of food. Let's go get some because I am starving." He states holding his stomach. 

I stand up telling him to lease the way. He takes advantage for this statement and grabs my bag practically leading me to his car outside. (We can leave for lunch btw)

I pull my phone out and notice another text from Kyle asking about this weekend. I ignore it thinking about mine and Danny's possible weekend plans.  

I hop into the car and turn the radio on when a  THE song that Danny and are actually in love with. Danny hurries out  of the parking lot and turns it up. He looks over at me and we are both singing this song both of pitch and way to load. But to be far we are crazy as it was fun. 

When the song is over Danny looks over at me again, "where to darling?"

"We could go to the usual spot and get the same thing we always get." I say looking back over at him.  

"How about we try something new girl. There is this new place that opened the other night."

"I'm down. Let's go then." I change the station as Danny goes towards this new place. 

My phone buzzes and I pick it up seeing I that Kyle texted me again. 

'Hey where are you? What happened to lunch??'

I look over to Danny and read the text out load, " whet should I say?"

"Tell him you don't like him and desired to hang with your best friends in the whole world."

I roll my eyes smiling

'No sorry. I went to eat out with Danny. Rain check?'

He just reads my text and doesn't respond and I don't think much of it. I  open up my snapchat and take a selfie with Danny and caption it 'going for lunch with my bestie'

We roll up to this new spot and I grab my wallet and jump out of Danny's car as he practically does the same. 

We walk into this seafood place  a and get our table for two and look through  the menu. 

"What kind of new are we trying today?" I look up at Danny with a smile. 

"Girl let's try lobster or oysters and shrimp. With soda and lemonade  or tea." He says with the kinda smile you would have after answering some question right. 

"Sounds like a plan. Good thing my parents gave me money this morning."

"Like always girl I'm right.  We're getting all of that. And we might be late to class again."

"That's nothing new." I say. 

Danny orders everything and when the waiter leaves we starts talking about all the shit that is happening through out the school. We go on Instagram  and  like the sorta bad people we are. We talk crap about people and there pictures. But you know we aren't the only people who do that. 

When our food and drinks arrive I pull up snap again and take a pic of him and caption 'wouldn't wanna be eating lunch with anyone other than you best Fran' 

Danny does does the same  thing braes we are #bestfriend goals   Then we dig in. Trying everything at once then then all together then  making weird combinations.  And man was that a good but expensive meal. 

We split the bill and tip like always and get on our way back to the hell hole we call school. 

When we get back to the school we actually aren't late today.  Together we make our way to our lockers and of course there is someone leaning on mine. I look up and realize it's Kyle. I look over at Danny and say

"Hey let's um not get our books today and just go to class because I don't feel like dealing Kyle right now." I pull him down the next hallways that is not to far from our lockers hoping that Kyle didn't see either one of us.  

We get to class and my phone goes off. I look at it. 

'I saw you try to ignore me. Now that hurt my feelings a bit.  But I kinda need an answer about this weekend soon. Let me know like ASAP...'
