The Naughty Babysitter

'' You shouldn't have come... ''

Dad wasn't lying. Dinner was great. Its was such a relaxed dinner night filled with constant good conversation and i forgot all about the dream..  Nightmare..  I don't know what it was besides weird.  Once dinner  was over Danny practically pushed me all the way upstairs into my room.  

"Geeze Danny don't get your panties inna twist. " i say as i sit on the edge of my bed while Danny closes the door. 

"Are you going to tell me what in the world that dream was?" he was concerned. He's my best friend and cares. I woke up crying so of course he cares. The while dream floods back playing on a constant repeat in my mind. I look down at my feet. Danny comes over and sits on the bed. 

"It was weird in the start. It felt as if i was in this situation. I woke up in a room that wasn't mine." I proceed to tell Danny about the dream leaving out the message Kyle told me to tell his sister. 

"Damn. Ya know Megan i read somewhere that dreams are either images of things you've seen in your life or will be something you see later on in life and it's kinda a freaky moment. Like deja vu to the max. "

"i pray i never see Kyle get trapped inside a room engulfed in flames. I'd never be okay again. But it's really weird because he's always over and we talk about family a lot. He has had so many opportunities to tell me about Cassidy but he hasn't. "

"Megan, hon,  if he really did loose his sister at their favorite family spot that's two good things that effected the family in so many ways. They lost the only daughter sister in the family. That's hard to talk about. And that lil family vaca spot won't ever be the same since she died there and wont be with them anymore. All of that really isn't the easiest thing to talk about." 

"I know but we've talked about so many difficult topics."

Danny's phone chimed before he could say anything.  "it's my mom. She needs me back at the house. She's sayin Bradly is getten worried about me and won't go to bed unless I'm there." 

"Ah Bradly good thing you're cute, night Danny."

He hugs me kisses my forehead stands up to walk to the door but suddenly turns around. "don't put to much thought inti the whole dream. If she really died he'll tell you on his own time. Night Megan. "

He walks out leaving me alone. I look around and fix my eyes on the smoothies that we got earlier. I stand up walking over to my desk and grabbing the two nearly empty cups.  I walk out of my room and slowly down stairs. I get to the third from the bottom step and hear my parents talking about something.  I walk into the kitchen and they get quiet. I pause a second in to doorway and look at them.  They both look at me. I then proceed to walk past the bar to the other side of the bar to the trash can.  I walk towards the doorway again but i turn and look at them. 

"calling it a day early soo yea. "

They just look at me as if they've seen a ghost. I walk back up the stairs and into my room. I walk into my bathroom and take my hairbrush. I make eye contact with myself in the mirror. I brush my hair without breaking the eye contact. When i put my brush down i look down into the sink. 

"why do i care so much about this?  Like geeze dummy you don't even know if he really lost his sister. Like okay i know we got feelings for him but we need to fucking stoop." i look back at my eyes in the mirror " fucking stop worrying"

I stare at myself for a little while longer. I shake my head at the fact that the thoughts aren't going away.  I turn my back to the mirror and walk back into my room to grab my phone off of my bed up by my pillows. As i walk back into my bathroom i look through my text messages from Kyle. I really just wanna hug him right about now. I close out my texting app and put on some music through my speakers. I place my phone gently on the counter i turn my back to the mirror and start to pull my shirt off. Once its off i throw it into my dirty clothes hamper. I proceed to do the same with the rest of my clothes.
