Chapter Three

Chesstale! Sans P.O.V

I just finished a game of chess with my brother Papyrus. I walked out of our house or should I we walked out of the house. Papyrus and I walked to our posts to watch for humans. Nothing human like walked past but a skeleton. Wait, is that the same skeleton I was following last night?

I believe it is. I was still wondering who it was, so I started to follow once again. While I was following the skeleton turned around. I saw it's face or should I say his face. It had two cracks going off each eye socket. The crack on the left eye socket was going up towards the top of his skull while the crack on the left was going Down to the bottom of the skull. He was wearing a jacket with fur coming from the tips of his hood. His jacket has two different symbols on each upper part of the sleeve. He was also wearing some jeans with a belt and some shoes.

I think that he had the feeling he was being followed again. The skeleton couldn't see anything around him that could be following him. Looks like he's heading to the ruins, but why would he be going there?

I looked away for a second and when I looked back he was talking to a human.

Gaster! Sans P.O.V

I had just walked out of the Snowdin inn. I was really tired because of the three musical ghosts. I started to explore more around the town Snowdin. I had the feeling of being followed again so I looked back but couldn't see any thing around me. I got close to a door going into a mountain. When I got really close the door opened because of a human.

"Hey kid" I said " How do guys fight here? Like this?" I got out two Gaster Blasters.

The human shook their head no.

"So how do you guys fight?" I asked while outing away my Gaster Blasters.
The kid got out a paper and wrote something on it. It said that they fight by playing chess.

"Really? Interesting." I said.

The kid shook their head yes. We started playing chess and after a while I had beaten them in three games.

"See ya kid." I said whole the kid was walking away.

"Who are you?" I heard someone ask behind me.
