Escape

You both escaped safely, barely making it out alive. You panted, catching your breath as Valoria talked to another demon of some sort. She grabbed your left hand and lead you to another place.

"When will this nightmare ever end..?"

Valoria lead you to a "secret passageway" as she called it. No one knew about it except for her and the servants at the castle. This was supposedly a safe place where no one could hurt you. "Miss, are you alright? The demon girl said, leading you to a table so you could sit on it. She held your hand gently, inspecting it.

You flinched a little in pain, but let her heal the wound nonetheless. You looked at Valoria, her worried purple eyes fixated on your hand as she healed it. "Thank you.." You whispered, looking down at your lap. She looked up at you, a small smile on her face as she chuckled, going back to heal your hand. "Miss, I didn't do anything to deserve your thanks.." She replied, finishing up wrapping the bandages.

"You saved my life though.. If you weren't there for me I would've died.." Valoria shook her head and laughed, going over to your left eye. "I was only protecting a friend, nothing more." She raised the eye patch and cleaned up any blood that escaped from the gash.

You sat quietly, letting Valoria do what needed to be done. The atmosphere was filled with an awkward silence, a few occasional grunts of pain from you, and whispers of Valoria saying "sorry". She took a step back and looked at you, she noticed you still had the scarlet dress on. "Miss, stay here while I get you a new set of clothes. And no, it's not a dress." She laughed slightly, giving you a wink. You grinned at her and sat, waiting for her return.

You could feel the ceiling shake as a few pebbles fell, you clutched your forearm as a single tear fell from your eye. You wish you could go home and see your family, friends.. you missed everything.. You balled your left and into a fist as more tears fell, as a moist spot formed on your dress.

"Miss?""

You looked up to see Valoria with a worried expression on her face, she saw you crying. Unbeknownst to you, it pained her to see you cry, she needed to protect you.. love you..

Valoria hurried to you, setting the clothes beside you as she hugged you form. Your eye widened as you stiffened up, you slowly began to hug back, sobbing into her maid dress. The demon knew what you wanted, and she was going to help. She may be a demon, but she was a demon with a heart

Se wasn't a demon, she was an angel. She worked under God as his personal guard. She was strong, strong qualities, strong physical abilities, and a strong heart.. That strong heart costed her her position of serving under God. She broke a forbidden rule of falling in love with a human.

Valoria was banned and sent to hell for the forbidden act, causing her to serve under Satan as a personal servant. She kept all of her strong qualities, her physical abilities, and her strong heart. She doesn't regret falling in love with that human.

Valoria grasped your form tighter, as memories from her past coming back. She didn't even realize that she herself, was crying. The demon let go of you, grabbing your shoulders as her big, deep purple eyes looked into your saddened (e/c) eye. Valoria nodded slightly agreeing with her decision, as she said the words you've always wanted to hear ever since you got to Hell.

"(Y/n), you and I are escaping. Tonight."

But little did you know, escape came with a price.
