I close my eyes, everything became silent, for a moment I felt that I wouldn't mind dying this time since I fought death. That cleared my mind and for the first time in a very long time I felt at peace. But I felt a strong wind pass by followed by sounds of clashing metal, I turn my head facing the sounds, I try to see but my vision is nothing but a blur. My wounds will not let me stand and I could barely crawl, I drag myself towards the sounds. I can see what appears to be two figures, one being death, but who's the other?

Death pounces towards me for the kill but the other figure steps between us and defends me, she's wearing some time of armor but I can't tell. I only hear the rough scraping sound oh heavy boots on the ground in front of me. I'll call you my guardian for now.

-"Stay behind me..." my guardian said with this extremely distorted, menacing tone in its voice.

She then ran and crossed blades with death, she has not one but what looks like an infinite arsenal of weapons. When death is at distance she uses a type of spear that spewed black and red smoke but one she was close she would use a sword-like weapons that bled constantly. As I regained my vision I could see how my guardian looked like. It was a slim, tall woman. Her silver hair would reach her knees even when tied, her armor was made of something I have never seen before, who is this woman?

Her speed was incredible, I could only see a beam of light that reflected off of her armor when she moved. Death was forced onto the defensive, she could not keep up with her speed, every ten swings she would throw Death could only block two. I could only stare in shock and be grateful that she is on my side, my wounds seem to be healing at a slightly faster rate than usual, I might be able to stand up in a few minutes.

Death has forgotten about me and is completely concentrated on my guardian, I believe she has never faced someone like her before. Still, there is nothing she can do, death cannot be killed. Death desperately tried to retreat  into the shadows but my guardian could easily see where she would come from, she has not taken a single hit from death's scythe. Death strikes with a powerful attack from the side but she managed to dodge it and cut both of Death's legs in one movement. I could see the amount of fear and rage in her eyes as she laid in the ground. My guardian walked towards me and asked.

  -"Are you able to walk?"

-"It's all thanks to you, I am in your debt, you are a magnificent warrior. You reminded me of the Knights I once commanded."

-" I am glad to hear that, now, I must finish her off."

-" it's useless, she is Death and cannot be killed, our best chance is to flee now while she's unable to fight."

-" You are wrong... Death is not a person but an action, what you are seeing there is the embodiment of that action, it needs a capsule in the physical realm to be able to complete that purpose. You are right when you say " death cannot be killed" but its capsule can. She will die and another capsule will instantly resume to bring death when nature calls upon it. "

-" So another body will be created for death to continue to exist?"

-" that's correct, but the "person" you see in front of you will no longer exist. And a new Death shall emerge. I understand you have very little knowledge about how these things work, you've only seen the earth realm."

-" What other realms are out there? "

-" We shall discuss this one this is over."

She continued to walk towards death but something was different about death, she was no longer worried or scared of her. She had a disturbing grin on her face and her eyes where glowing a bright orange.
