Teeny Tiny (Avengers x Reader)

Loki?

As you walked with a tiny Steve and Natasha in your arms nearing the end of the hallway you could hear the sound of one angry voice and many shouting high pitched ones. You couldn't help but wonder how they would survive while you were gone on your date. They had started fighting only a few minutes after you went to get changed. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea; leaving them alone just so you can go on a date. You wondered deeply causing your bright mood to vanish.

A sigh escaped your lips as you finally exited the hallway to see many pairs of eyes glaring at a tiny Loki who's glare seemed twice as venomous as any of theirs seemed to be.

"I believe you have something to tell Y/n don't you Loki?" Bruce said through slightly clenched teeth. "I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about." Loki said back. You couldn't help but think they looked on the verge of starting a brawl right in Tony's living room. You had to do something and quick.

"Loki what is it?" You asked calmly. You slowly knelt down so as to put Steve and Natasha back on the ground. Once they were on their feet you look at the exceedingly adorable green clad god in front of you. For a moment everything was quiet, and in that moment Loki looked over at you and opened his mouth to say something but he was interrupted by nearly every other person in the room except Natasha and Steve who looked very confused, and worried.

All around you you could hear many of the kids saying things like "fake date" and "tried to fool you" and "He was bragging about it." You didn't really hear more than bits and pieces from each of them before another voice took its place and your attention. You weren't a dumb girl and it didn't take long to piece it all together. It didn't make much sense to you but you were sure that Loki was somehow your date. That would explain why you didn't remember having sent a text to the guy at all.

You were conflicted. Part of you wanted to be mad but another part of you wanted to just hug lil ol Loki and tell him it was 'okay'. You wanted to tell him you weren't mad. Questions and accusations alike filled your mind but when you finally opened your mouth to speak none of them were what came out.

"How?" You ask. The very question sounded like a question in itself; like you were asking everyone why you were even asking one to begin with. As the milliseconds passed you found yourself looking towards Bruce. Why? You thought he may have an answer. He didn't. Well no he did but not fully. He tells you that he has a hypothesis, but that it's not something to talk about with the kids around. 'Well that's helpful' you want to say.

You had a right to be a bit pissed about all this.

First off, you were dumped in New York where your father didn't pick you up and left you to fend for yourself.

Secondly, you were missing your college classes that you personally paid and worked for.

Third, you became the babysitter of super hero's with powers you don't fully understand.

Forth, said super hero's are currently in stuck in a child like state, but said child like state only partly affected their normal minds. This meaning that when and if they ever became normal they would probably not approve of the way I babysat them. This wasn't even the last of your problems, but you had blanked out into your mind palace. (The references tho lol) Apparently everyone was waiting for you too do something. Yell at Loki probably.

Another sigh escaped your lips before you forced a smile. You were tired, and really did need someone to talk too. A date would have been nice. A chance to get things back to normalcy. That's when the idea came to you.

"Loki." You said lightly. "You better not stand me up. I'm heading over to the shawarma place now, and if you're late you have to pay for both our lunches."

*A.N. sorry chapter so short like I said before got my phone taken away and it has the rest of the chapter on it. Some is better than none I guess. Love you guys you are the best! BTW I have been planning on editing this story, nothing big just fixing things and making things more well put together.
