Chapter 8: Tony

I was on my way to that bitch Josie house. I had my lawyer on speed dial because I was damn sure I was about to catch a case. My daughter called me and said that she wanted to come with me. Apparently Josie slapped her in the face because she told her she was hungry. She was laid up with some nigga and said my daughter was interrupting their time. What the fuck?

I was kicking myself for not getting her sooner. I honestly didn't want to take her away from Loe. Lately though she was doing her own thing and was around Skai less and less. I knew she was only 18 so I couldn't be mad and expecting her to raise my daughter. After all Josie was the dumb bitch I had a child with, but Loe could have told me she was gone be M.I.A.

I pulled up to the house I paid bills at and my blood was boiling. If she had a nigga why was she always hitting me for money? Don't get me wrong I love my baby, but I regret the day I stuck my dick in Josie. When I got to the door I heard her yelling at Skai.

"I'm tired of yo lil spoiled ass. You think your daddy give a fuck about you? Where he at then?"

I had heard enough. I used the key Loe gave me to let myself in. As soon as Skai saw me she ran into my arms.

"Daddy!" She cried into my shoulder. My baby had a big ass hand print on her face. On cue Loe walked in the door.

"What's going on?"

"Take Skai to my house!" I said as I handed her off.

"Bitch you bet not take my baby nowhere."

Loe stopped in her tracks. I couldn't believe she was actually scared of Josie.

"TAKE HER TO MY HOUSE!" I said with enough bass in my voice to make Loe and Skai jump. She did what I said and took her outside.

Without warning I walked up to Josie and smacked the shit out of her.

"You been deserving that for a long time. Off the strength of you giving me my first born, I ain't gone murk your ass. Your best bet is to forget Skai was ever born the same way you do with Saydee."

"If you take my baby I'll call the police."

"Don't act like you care about my daughter bitch, all you care about is my money. I ain't giving your hoe ass shit else. Call the police if you want to Josie, you know what's up."

       With that I just walked out. I didn't need to say anything else. On the way to the crib I had to spark one. I wanted my daughter out that house and I was gone do this shit legally so there wasn't any commotion. Hopefully I could prevent Loe's dumb ass from going back too. Sometimes I think she likes the way that bitch treats her. I mean why else would you deal with that shit if you ain't have to?

My phone ringing pulled me out my thoughts.

"What's up Bruh?"

"Nothing man chilling. What you got going? The twins wanted to have a sleep over with Skai. I told them I would ask."

"Man some shit just went down with Josie, so I had to go get her. She at the crib with Loe, meet me there."

"Aight." Was all he said before hanging up.

Not too long after my phone started ringing again. It was Toya. Toya was another regret of mine. I only let her suck my dick though. Now she was trying to get me to wife her. No fucking way! Obviously the bitch wasn't loyal seeing as I'm her best friend baby daddy. Then I knew she was just looking for a come up. On top of that the head was trash!

"Yo." I said answering the phone.

"I wanna see you." She cooed. She tried her to sound sexy, but her voice was just annoying. She sounds like Oh Shit last baby mama on Black Ink Crew. It was so squeaky. 

"I'm busy Toya."

"That's what you always say."

"Then you should catch the hint."

"What hint Tony?"

"I don't want to fuck with your thot ass. You should be checking on your best friend instead of trying to fuck her baby daddy."

     She started to say something else but I just hung up. I was usually not this disrespectful to women, but today I was playing bad guy. I had one more head to chew. I pulled up to my house and Montana wasn't there yet which was perfect. Walking in Loe was on the phone. I assumed she was talking to either Jay or Tommie. I snatched it out her hand and told whoever it was she was gone call them back. I didn't even bother to check it.

"What the fuck Tony?"

"How often does that bitch hit my daughter like that and how come you never told me?"

"She's never done it before. At least not when I'm there. If I'm there Skai's with me."

"I left her there for you. You promised me you would protect her and when you couldn't you would call me. So why am I getting phone calls from my six year old crying about how she's scared?"

"Tony I just went to the mall."

"Why couldn't she go with you?!" I yelled

"Because I ain't her mama!" As soon as the word left her mouth she put her head down.

      I realized that I had put too much pressure on her. To be honest I had saw a way out with Loe agreeing to make sure Skai was taken care of. I felt like I was to young to be a full-time dad.

"I'm sorry." I finally said. "You're just a kid. I get you wanna be young. You got this new nigga, you just graduated, you ain't got the time to be raising somebody else kid."

"I'll always have time for my baby. I just want time for myself to."

"I can respect that. I'm a gone head and get custody."

"Ok. Ummm. Is there still an offer for me to get an apartment?"

"Of course Sis."
