But then I forgot to turn off the stove and I don't know my moms joke to come true lol after I did that my dad text me and said to open the front door as I was reading my the text from Sam I went to open to door the for them. When I open to door I didn't realize it was poring outside and dad and jake was wet from head to toe they run inside the house. And when to take off the wet clothes before they get sick so when they was changing. I was putting plates and forks on the table and by now it was time for mom to be coming home. Then I told dad that mom is at the store getting milk he said ok and start to put food on his plate. And I did the same but the food was for Jake I wasn't that hungry so I just went to my room and went back to finish homework it wasn't long to get done with it. So after I finish I look at my phone there was more text from Sam I was just like what he going to tell me now.

(Sam): Hey Hope what up. That was one

(Sam): Hope are u ok why haven't you been answering me. That was two

(Sam) Ok did I do something wrong and that's why u haven't been answering me.

I stop read his texts message cuz there was hilarious to me and I finally text him back.

I started to dozy off to sleep so I change to pj and went to bed.

The next morning

I was woken up by my brother he was told by mom to wake me up for school he always did this every morning. So I started walking to my bathroom to take a quick shower when I was done with my shower. Than I went to go find a outfit to wear for school sense I got in trouble for wearing my pj at school before. So now I have to pick out clothes to wear which is kinda hard cuz I'm very picky on what I wear but I have know time for a fashion show this morning. So I just grab a part of blue jeans and plaid shirt and light baby blue tanks top that I wear underneath the plaid and baby blue converse that goes with my outfit. And then I start to do my hair I put it in an ponytail and put my favorite headband on. Than grab my books and phone and start to walk to school. But before I left home I told my mom that I will watch Jake and his friend Ryan after they come home from school Jake was happy I said yes that I will watch him and his friend. I was happy to make him happy but I was not to happy going to school. As I was a block away from my school I was thinking maybe I will make a new friend today and then I think again Not. I always think that and never do make a new friend I have one good best friend and that's Sam but then I start think again ppl say always say never say never. So then I start to think maybe I will find a new friend. We'll I'm here at my school I was about to unlock my locker when Sam came runner to me. He started to tell me that he has to show a new student around the school like a tour that of where the classes are and other thing like that he doesn't know if it's and boy or girl. He said he will find out later then he start a different conversation but I wasn't play know mind to the conversation. I was in my locker looking for my headphones that I left in my locker but there wasn't there how can this happen then I start to think back happen yesterday. But then I got my thoughts cut off by the school bell telling us to head for class. I just grab my English books and head to English class before I left I said bye to Sam and made me way to class but then I stop cuz was about to say something else to him. but he was with principal John they was talking and and next to them there was a girl I'm guessing she the new student.I hope lol hope cuz my name is hope ok never mind well I hope I get to meet her and maybe she can be my new friend that I need. Pls I really need a friend that is a girl cuz I try to talk to Sam abt girl stuff and he gives me that look like plz stop talking. So I do cuz I know he a boy and pls I need a girl side kick to go threw high school with lol. Ok and then went to look at my watch it was 8:45 and I was suppose to be in English by 8:50. And English class is down the hall so I made a run to class before I was to late lucky I made it with 2 minutes to spare. So I take my set and take out my notebook out of my bag and start to draw somethings on it. When I felt someone touch me I turn around and it was the new girl that I saw with Mr John and Sam in the hallway she was saying something to me but I can't hear her cuz I'm deaf. So I just took my notebook and wrote her a note cuz I don't want her to think Im ignoring her cuz I'm not. So I wrote her this Hi I'm Hope Rose Smith here the thing I'm deaf so when u was talking to me I couldn't hear to I don't want u to think i was ignoring u cuz your new here cuz I'm not like that I hope lol that cracks me up all the time um nvm mind that I hope we can be friends. Hey what's your name. After I was done with the note I put it on her desk that was next to me after I gave it to her.I then notice that she was reading my note. and then she was smiling than she look at me. And then she started to write on the back of the paper that I give her. Then when she was done she pass it to me I smile and look at what she wrote back to me it said. Hi Hope I love your name by the way my name is Bay Howard and I was tell u earlier that u draw really good and when u didn't answer me back. I did feel like you was ignoring me so I tap you on your shoulder and when u turn around and smile at me. I thought there was something wrong with you. Then u wrote that note and now I understood there nothing wrong with you. You just couldn't hear me and yes we can be friend and you can help me in Sign Language class. There was more stuff she wrote down but when I saw that she taking Sign Language class I was so excited that I want to get out of my chair and dance like a crazy person. But then I get in trouble so I just waited to class ended and class was about to end in 1 minute in I was started to get ready to going to my next class which was science. I love science class one reason cuz me and Sam only have science class together. And I love to work in science class I don't know why I just do as I was walking out of English class. And was going to my locker the get my science books and gum from my locker. When I notice that Bay was walk next to me cuz her new locker is next to mine and Sam which I thought it was awesome. well I was about to leave to class. But before I went to class I wanted to talk to her when I say thank for the complete on my drawing when I look at her. Her was completely in shock and then Sam came to us he was talking to bay for a long time.

Sam Pov:

I saw Hope talking to Bay so I went to talk to Bay and explain some things to her. Like I don't see hope talking to a lot of ppl beside the family and teachers. But at school she only talks to me which I think it's weird she talking to u. But I do think it also good for her to be herself around you and ppl that see her for her. And not like an alien that comes from another plant like a lot of ppl see her like they really do misunderstood her in do many ways. Just cuz she deaf doesn't mean she don't have feeling too just cuz she can't hear what they say about her. I know that she know there making fun of her i know it hurts her inside just cuz I see it in her eyes. But she a brave girl and powerful girl too and I'm happy to say that we are really good friends. See I known Hope for almost half my life so shes like a lil sister to me pls she a year younger then me so yeah. As I was saying her and my brother are deaf so I get her more than other ppl. See the difference between my brother and Hope is my brother will never talk to cuz he can't that what that specialist say about my brother. On the other hand Hope can talk she just can't hear u it all started from a really bad ear infection that cuz her to go deaf she wasn't born deaf she lost her hearing at a very young age. After all that explaining to Bay she finally now understood Hope story and I'm glad that she does I hope we all become really good friends.
