I open my eyes, panicking. I look through the windows, and in the moonlight I see nothing. A few moments later I go back to sleep and wake up hearing them. I open my eyes to see literally hundreds of them trying to break through the glass. I yell in panic and stumble backwards, falling on my ass in the process. A man looks down at me "Are you alright man?" I shake my head lightly and stand up,"I'm fine, got distracted and came back kind of shocked." I look at the undead humans trying to break through the glass.
"Having fun looking at our pets gentleman?" I turn around and see him, the man who kidnapped me and Lee. My clench my fists and walk towards him. He looks at me not moving, and I stand in front of him."Can I help you?" He looks at me snickering,"How the hell did you get so many people, don't you think the government will find out about all these people going missing?!?" He shakes his head and starts laughing. He walks toward the glass and says, "I didn't grab these people, you did Robert. Don't you remember?" I don't move after what he said to me. Me? kidnap hundreds of people! Impossible! I shake my head furiously trying to fathom what he told me.
"How could I kidnap hundreds of people without someone noticing?!" I yell at the man. He just laughs and walks away, not caring about my question. I start walking up to him, but as I do so I feel electricity shoot through my entire body. I start to scream out, but no sound came out of my mouth. As if on cue, I wake up in my bed in cold sweat. I look around and see Ash an Lee looking out the living room window. Ash then turns an looks at me, panicked."You need to come see this." Without saying a word I get up. Lee's starting out the window, looking calm.
I look out the window, seeing a group of people fighting on the highway. Zombies are swarming all around them. They were looking weak, and they were scared. I walk to the door, "You guys stay here, I'll be right back." I grab my machete and run out the door, eager to meet new people. Let's just hope they are good people I thought. I stop a few feet away from the group. "Hey! Come at me you sacks of shit!!" I yell, causing the zombies to turn. The group saw this as a spark of hope and started eagerly killed any zombies in sight. On the other hand, some of the zombies started shuffling towards me. I pause for a moment,waiting for the zombies to get closer to me.
Out of nowhere I get tackled from the side. A small zombie clambers up my chest and eagerly tries to bite at my neck. I hold its head up and slices it clean off. Dark blood covers my neck and shirt. I get up quickly enough to slice a zombies head in two. I back up some more to get my bearings. A zombie quickly shambles toward me and I side-step around it, snapping its neck as I do so. I slam my elbow into the next closest zombie, making it stagger backwards. I front flip over the staggered zombie and land in the middle of the remaining group. I then spin incredibly fast and stand still. I sheathe my machete and the zombies fall to the floor.
I pant lightly and look up, seeing all the awed faces of the human group of survivors. I walk towards the group "Are you guys alright? Is anyone injured?" A teen boy walks up to me."To be honest we were fucked if you hadn't shown up." The group slowly shambles forward, though they were still on guard."Well I'm glad you guys are okay." I continue to speak,"Though I have to ask, why did you guys walk on the highway?" A woman speaks up from the back of the group "We were looking for my father."
My face starts to get pale "He didn't happen to have a bandage on his left arm did he?" I ask quietly. The woman walks up to me quickly "So you've seen him? Where is he? Where did he go? Answer me!" I flinch as she asks me angrily."I-i'm sorry ma'am… but your father he..." My body started to shake, "He tried to kill me when I was at the gas station behind you... but he missed. He shot the glass and I ran, and he didn't make it out of the gas station." I took a deep breath as I finished my explanation, sparing some minor details.
A few seconds later I hear a Slap! And my head was tilted to the side. Did she just slap me?! I look at this woman to she that she's crying, and clearly pissed at me."Why didn't you try to save him?!" She yells."He tried to kill me! And he's been bitten and if I saved him, he would've turn and harmed me and my friends." I retort, getting angry. The teen boy puts an arm on her "Helena please calm down, we don't need to attract more zombies." I blink a few times "Helena? As in principal H?" She looks up at me in shock, "how do you know who I am?" I take a step closer "Its me Robert."
Lee's POV
I look out the window and watch as Robert takes care of the zombies."Man he's fast." I tilt and see Ash watch him in amazement. I chuckle that girl is into him. Ash looks at me "What's so funny?" I shake my head "It's nothing." I look back just in time to see Robert get slapped. What the hell! I watch them talk something out and most of them blink in shock. I then start to hear a loud rumble. I look up to see a plane falling out of the sky "Well shit."
