Nobody could help me now. I've lost everything. I have no one. Sawyer tried visiting more often but no one can save me. Nobody can get me out of the dark place my mind is in. I tried long ago but there was no hope. I was the less loved child, the most hated girl. I'm 19 and going nowhere...

"Sky, Sawyer's on the phone..." My mother called.

I nodded and jumped up, Sawyer was my brother, but he was also my best and only friend in this world. I grabbed the phone and put it to my ear.

"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Sky!" His voice cheered.

I envied the happiness in his voice, happiness was something I longed for, something I would kill for, something I never had.

"Hi..." I said less excited.
"How are you?" He asked.

How did he think I was? Why did he even care? He left me to go to LA after all!

"The usual..." I chose to say.
"Oh... well I have good news that will brighten up your day!" He cheered.

Yeah right!

"What is it?" I asked.
"I booked you a ticket to come to LA for 2 months!" He cheered happily.

Wait...What? Sawyer booked me a ticket to spend 2 months in LA with him? Why would he want sad, boring, hideous Skylar ruining 2 months of his precious life.

"I don't know..." I replied.
"Why not Sky? You never visit anymore..." His voice saddened.
"I just... I..." I  couldn't manage to speak.
"Please Sky, if you don't like it here i'll book you a ticket straight back home" He pleaded.
"Promise?" I whispered.
"Promise" He said more happier.
"...Fine, when do I leave?" I asked.
"You leave at 2am tonight!" He cheered.
"...Sawyer that's early" I wined.
"Then go buy a starbucks at the airport" He chuckled.
"Ughh, rude!" I sighed.

I was sort of happy to hear his voice, I couldn't wait to see him but a little voice inside my head told me to stay before I ruin everything even more... For once I'm listening to  me! I battled with the annoying voice telling me I'm worthless for 5 years, it's about time I stand up for myself! I said my goodbye's to Sawyer and hung up. The house was quiet, empty... I liked it when it was just me. I wanted to buy my own apartment but I wasn't 'trusted' living alone. I returned into my room and started throwing clothes into my suitcase while watching my favourite Anime.

~3 Hours Later

"Be grateful for this Skylar! Sawyer's going out of his way to help you" My mum shouted.

Lately I couldn't do anything without getting into an argument with my mum...

"I am grateful, grateful that someone actually cares!" I shouted back.
"I care Skylar! If I didn't care you wouldn't be living in my house" She replied.

Honestly, my head was everywhere right now... I don't even remember how we started arguing. I had finished my packing, I was ready to go but it was only 12am so I had to wait till at least 12:45am before I could leave this hell-hole!

"Look sweetie, I know it's been hard but I do care Skylar..." She frowned.

I didn't know what to reply, sure I loved my mum to bits but I know she's probably disappointed and ashamed of what I've become... What makes it more sad is that she only knows tiny bits of whats wrong with me... She know's that I've changed a lot, I'm not that little bright, happy 6 year old, if anything I'm the complete opposite. But she doesn't know where my mind is, she doesn't know my feelings everyday, she doesn't know the amount of times I cry myself to sleep... she doesn't know the things I want to tell her so she can help me, I guess I just don't want to bother her more.
It was at that second I broke down, I fell into her arms as she quickly caught me in a motherly hug. I felt the hot tears sting their way down my cheeks.
