Bonding.

~Joey's POV

My eyes were glued on the beautiful figure which stood before me... Skylar was Sawyer's sister? Now i understood how she seemed so familiar. She was also shocked to see me, did she still remember me? The room was silent, i was surprised with myself, i had managed to crush on Sawyer's sister!

"Your Sawyer's roommate?" She asked shyly.
"Yeah... Your Sawyer's sister?" I asked amazed.
"Yeah..." She nodded as her head fell to the ground.

Skylar was Sawyers sister.... The sister that Sawyer was really protective over. Well this is awful, what if Sawyer doesn't want me near his sister if he knows I'm crushing on her? I ruffled my hand through my hair as she finally looked up.

"You listen to Lana?" She asked.
"Yeah... she's one of my favourites" I smiled.
"Same" She nodded in agreement.

God she was so beautiful... The way her soft brown hair fell gently down to her waist, the way her enchanting blue eyes could tell you a story... Wow Joey, crush much? Why was i so dam nervous to talk?

"Do you um... want anything to eat?" I asked trying to remove the awkwardness.

She looked down to the ground and then back up, her blue eyes shimmering like an ocean.

"Sure" She smiled displaying her perfect set of pearly white teeth.

Just as i made some food i watched her drift over to the sofa were hitch was lying.

"Hey little guy" She whispered adorably.

Starring is rude, i know, but how could i not? She was adorable. I carried on blending some fruits together and then pouring them into cups. Just as i was cooking she slipped behind me and into the medicine cupboard grabbing so many pill bottles with her name on them. I couldn't help but wonder why she took so many... She didn't look sick or ill? What was someone so beautiful doing taking so much? Shit, she noticed my confused stares.

"Oh... Back pain" She nodded.
"Oh..." I replied continuing to make my food.

She opened each one and took one or two of each.

"Want some water?" I asked.
"No I'm fine" She replied.

The pills slipped easy down her throat, it was almost like she was a pro in taking them... Something made me believe that it wasn't back pain she was suffering from. I made the food then set it out, at first she took little bits but then started eating normally after. Just as she finished Sawyer walked in.

"Hey guys!" He smiled.
"Hey" I replied.
"Hello" She smiled.
"You guys okay?" He asked obviously sensing the awkwardness in the room.
"Yeah... Well i better get upstairs, i have to um... call someone" She smiled before almost running to her room.

Sawyer raised an eyebrow and slumped himself down on the sofa.

"Is she okay?" He asked.
"I think so..." I replied taking a slurp of my smoothie.
"Oh... Oh shit did she take her-" He said worriedly.
"Yeah she took them... must be real bad back pain" I nodded.
"Oh... yeah... back pain" He nodded.

Sawyer looked at the floor before clapping his hands together.

"Got any plans today?" He asked me.
"Not that i know off" I replied.
"Good, we're all going out for dinner" Sawyer smiled.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah, it would give you and Sky some time to talk and get to know each other. You guys are going to be seeing a lot of each other" Sawyer smiled.
