Adopted (One Direction Adoption)

One

Ella is 3 years old with Blonde hair and green eyes, and very small for her age. Her mom died of cancer when she was barley even 1. Since then her dad blamed it all on Ella for her mother getting cancer and dying. The neighbors caught Ella's dad abusing her one day and that's how she ended up in Miami at the Sunrays orphanage. She has been here for almost 3 years. She is very shy and doesn't talk to anyone, and stays to herself. Her bestfriend is a white bunny that has a red bow around its neck, his name is Ted.

Niall pov*

Simon just filled us in that we will be adopting a child from an orphanage here in Florida. He got fed up with us being "immature" as he would put it.

I don't know how this will work with us traveling and none of us have ever had to take care of a child before. To say we were nervous would be an understatement. I cant help but feel a little excited because we will be giving a kid a home and a family, well sorta.

"So boy or girl and how old?" Liam asks us all.

"Girl"  we all say in unison.

"its settled a girl. now how old?" Harry questions.

"maybe 3 or 4?" I reply more of a question.

I get a few nods as we pull up to a brick building with a sign that says Sunrays Orphanage with a sun on it. seems decent.

we all walk in seeing kids run around. a lady in her 40s with brown hair and glasses approaches us.  

"hello welcome im Mrs. Jean you boys must be One Direction, Simon just called. So what gender are you boys looking for?"

"Girl, about 3 or 4" Harry smiles.

"okay we have about 6 here and they are all in the play area right over there, feel free to look around and ill be in my office if you need anything." she points as she walks away.

we all split up and head to different areas in the playroom in search of our new addition. I look around and notice a little girl who looks 3. She has blonde hair and is wearing a blue sundress and has a white bunny looking thing in her arms.

"hi there im Niall whats your name?" I ask getting down to her level.

she doesn't really say anything she just looks scared. "Ella" she whispers softly in her little baby voice.

"hi Ella, youre very cute, how old are you?" 

she looks up at me with her sparkling green eyes and holds up 3 fingers.

"wow youre so big! would you like to come home with me?" I smile standing up.

She stands up and lifts her arms up signaling she wants to be picked up. I pick her up and take her to the rest of the guys.

"guys meet Ella, Ella meet the guys." I introduce. all the boys smile and look at her.

"how old is she, she is adorable" Louis saying trying to tickle her tummy but she hides her face in my neck.

"3" I respond. "we are getting her no doubt." Zayn pipes up.

we all walk to Mrs Jeans office. "oh I see you've found Ella." she gets up smiling.

"yes we would like to adopt her" I say smiling proudly.

"have a seat and we will get everything settled."  she nods to the chairs infront of her desk.

"ok so there are some thing you should know about cute little Ella. She is 3 years old her birthday is November 16th. She is allergic to nutella and can not fall asleep without her bunny Ted. She was brought in by police who got a call from her neighbors about her father abusing her." she finishes and we are all on the verge of freaking tears. how can anyone abuse this cute innocent little girl.

"what about her mom?" Liam asks wiping away a tear.

"Her mother died when she was 1 of cancer. Her father blamed the death of his wife on Ella."

what the heck! if I ever run into that no life!

"so who will be signing as her official guardian?" Mrs. Jean looks to all of us holding the documents. 

we never really discussed it, I looked at the boys then back at Mrs. Jean raising my hand "I will" 

"very well sign here and initial here." she says pointing to th line on the paper.

"Well Mr. Horan Ella McKenzie Horan is officially yours." she smiles.
