Tides Will Bring Me Back To You. (Matt Kean x Reader!)

Alligator Blood.

You jumped onto the rainbow faded roundabout and Matt held onto the bars and started to spin it, the faster it got the more you both laughed. "Matt! Hop on!" Matt grabbed you hand and jumped onto the roundabout landing on the space next to you, the roundabout continued to spin with you two laughing and growing dizzier. It soon started to slow down and your vision was less blurry, Matt stood up first and said "Do you need help love?" He stumbled off the roundabout and held out his large hand for you to grab, "I'll be fine thanks Matt." But you accidentally tripped and fell, landing on top of Matt. 

There you were, face to face with a handsome pale giant dressed in all black. You were immersed in the abyss of his grey eyes, and his was looking deeply into your (E/C) eyes. Both of you in a trance, "O-oh I'm so s-sorry Matt." You rushed up and looked away to hide your blush, Matt then stood up and put his hand on your shoulder "It's alright love, tell you what. Race you to that tree!" Matt sprinted off past you and climbed over the gate, "Oh you're on Kean!" 

You raced after him and soon caught up with him, "That was an unfair start!" You complained, "I don't know what you're on about." Matt laughed, so you ran faster and soon enough you reached the tree. You were leaning against the trunk of the tree regaining your breath as Matt slowed down, "How the fuck did you run that fast?" Matt said breathless, "I may not be the most energetic, but I was the fastest back in school." Matt leaned against the tree facing you and stared at you, "What do I get for winning Matty?" You said, Matt was thinking. "Hmmm, I don't know I will have to think about that love." 

You turned around and started to climb the tree, "What are you up to?" Matt shouted, "Me and Lee used to come 'ere when our parents were arguing, either together or alone but we used to climb up and just watch the other kids play." You said, continuing to climb further up the tree branches. "Be careful up there!" Matt shouted up to you, you looked down and said "Well, why don't you come up 'ere then maybe I will be safe." Matt started to follow you, "Sorry if my arse is in your face Matt." Matt was secretly admiring it and blushing, "It's alright, I'm not looking." Matt was indeed looking.

You saw a stable and thick branch then stopped climbing to sit on it, you helped Matt up and he sat next to you. The view was perfect, it was around the end of the school day so kids were starting to turn up at the park. They all looked so joyful as they were swinging on the swings or playing chase with their friends, whilst their mothers were sitting on the benches having a little gossip. But one kids caught your attention, she wasn't playing, she was reading next to a tree trunk. 

Your attention turned to Matt as you saw him looking at you, "What? Do I have something on my face?" Matt smiled, "No you're just so interesting and beautiful." You looked down at the floor and smiled, "Don't be such a sap Matt Kean." You felt someones hand intertwine with yours, you looked and it was Matt's hand. "I'm not being a sap, I'm being honest (Y/N)." You heart was pounding violently in your chest, you looked up at Matt and he looked at your eyes then your lips. Until he closed the gap between you and kissed you gently on your lips, "Oh wow, T-Tom was right. I think." Your heart was fluttering and you were that you were blushing again, Matt smiled lovingly.

 "See (Y/N), I've loved you for a while. Probably since you were with Jona, I was so fucking jealous that he got your tiny hugs and your kisses and got to see your beautiful face nearly every morning. Then there was that last dickhead, I was going to ask you out but then you came to me all happy and told me news you and him were together. I didn't want to crush you. Then he cheated and you were so sad, I wanted to make you happy but I wasn't sure if you liked me back." You smiled and placed your head on his shoulder, "I've liked you all this time, I've just tried to brush it off like it was nothing Matt, but I do love you." Matt rested his head on yours with a large smile on his face, "Be my girlfriend (Y/N)?" "I would be honoured, but the guys can't know." Matt was confused, "Why not?" You sighed, "It's more Lee than anyone else, he's been more protective than ever since the one who cheated. I guess I just don't want him to be too involved." Matt's hand rubbed your arm and then kissed your forehead, "Don't worry it will just be between us, I promise." 

You both sat there enjoying each others company for a while, until You broke the silence. "I don't want to go back, Oli's going to be so pissed."  "Don't worry, I won't let him." You both sighed, "Should we go back now and just face the consequences?" You looked up at Matt and he seemed confused, "Who are you and what have you done to my girlfriend who broke a girls nose and ripped out her earring last night?" You kissed his nose, "She is right here." "Come on, let's go." Matt said, he started to climb down and once he was safely on the ground, you stood on a lower branch and Matt picked you up and helped you down. "Thank you kind sir." Matt bowed like a gentlemen, "You're very welcome my lady, care to join me?" He held out his arm and you linked yours around it, "I would be honoured."

And so you two walked back to the studio...
