Adam's: POV

I went down to the kitchen and saw a note on the table. I'll be with Oliver the whole day. /Lily. I smiled and took out a blood bag from the fridge. I drank while I read today's news. No new reports about 'animal attacks' it seemed to have calmed down now.

After the breakfast I went to the cemetery and found our grave. "I can hardly imagine the pain that you had to go through and it feels so unfair." I said and tears ran down my cheeks. "It was not your fault." replied a familiar voice. I turned around and saw my mom. "Mom!" I said and hugged her. "I have miss you so much but you and Lily were very brave." replied Leila. "I've miss you too and I took it for granted that there would be a boat for, us when we got back." I said. "It's over now sweetie." she replied and I nodded.

We went back home and Max met us in the doorway. "Grandma!" he shouted happily and hugged her tight. "My dear Max." said mom with a smile. Behind him stood my daughter and she looked shyly at her. I lifted up Melody in my arms and presented her for my mom.

"There you are little puppy." said Tommy with a soft laugh. "Mom, meet my fiancé Tommy Joe Ratliff." I replied with love in my voice. "It's a pleasure to meet you." said Leila. "Same here." he replied polite.

After I had introduced her to Johanna, Lisa, Etta and Bridget came Lily and Oliver home. Her eyes said more than a thousand words when she saw her grandmother and it became an beautiful moment.

Then I went down on my knees and opened a box with a ring. "Tommy Joe Ratliff, I love you over all my heart and you spread light and joy into my life. I don't know what I would do without you and you have helped me so much. We have three wonderful children together and we love you so much. Will you marry me?" I asked. "Of course I want Adam." he said and I put the ring on his finger. "You're so handsome." I said and kissed him. "You're so gorgeous." replied Tommy and kissed me back.

Leila is back and Adommy is getting married❤️ I hope you liked this chapter.
