"What should I put them down as Ty?" Adam tapped the lined paper with the tip of his pencil in a rhythmic tune. He was a talented drummer and Ty envied that. He turned his gaze to the boy sitting in the grass with another, the two playfully arguing about what sounded like Pokemon. "That's Mitch and Jerome right?" The two knew every single students name and how they look like the back of their hands. It's that very natural talent that landed them the job of grouping people for the year book. Adam scrunched his eyes and leaned a tad closer, before giving a friendly thumbs up. "How about... Cutest best friends?" Ty looked up, his way of concentrating. "I'll give it a 7.5. Like the idea, but we need a much more creative name. How about, 'merome?' It's their names put together." Adam gave a faint smile and wrote down the title, marking the page with a blue sticky note. Ty jumped down from their tree perch in the schools courtyard and raced to the two, his camera bouncing against his chest. "Smiles!" The friends turned toward the camera and grinned, arms locked. He took the picture and looked at his work proudly on the screen, turning back to Adam. "That's a keeper!"

Ty loved his job at the high school. For one thing, Him and Adam were able to skip class once on a daily bases to work on the pictures in the computer room. They usually laughed at random photographs Ty took of people when they least expected it. And most importantly, he was able to be with Adam. He was as straight as the number zero and it worried him Adam was as straight as straight can possibly be. Besides that, Ty knew he never had a chance. The two had just finished taking a picture of Jason, Ian, and maddie. They both agreed on the group called, 'Trusty trio." Ian had been holding hands with Maddie and his arm jokingly around Jason's neck as to strangle him. "As we both know, the years drawing to an end." Adam said as they walked throughout the halls with his planner in hand. Ty nodded considerably along with him, opening his locker up and taking out his camera. He chose to skip math that chilly Tuesday morning. "I wish I didn't have to skip art. But I guess it's worth it if I'm gonna be hanging with you." Ty smiled ecstatically. "Let's get to the computer room before Mr. Schwartz catches us again." He recalled the day the principal found them doing nothing in the vast empty halls. It was a good day.

Ty smiled looking through the photographs Ty, himself had taken. He wouldn't mind a little boastful gloating right now. He's not exactly one to be modest. While Adam was out at the copier room laminating copy's, Ty couldn't help but, stare at the two pictures that made him feel stressed. Stressed he couldn't say that Adam was his. The one with Jerome and Mitch and secondly, one they had taken couple of weeks ago. Quentin, a good friend of his, with his girlfriend. They were kissing. He couldn't help feel the pang of guilt that hit him. Carefully, he set the pictures In an envelope marked, 'yearbook memories.' It wasn't long till Adam came back with a similar envelope, witnessing Ty spin around in an office chair. "Nice. Oh and by the way, I checked my planner. We got pictures of everyone!" He smirked, and set the envelope next to the other neatly. "Adam? I kinda need to tell you something. Before we start. He looked at Ty expectantly with warm, brown eyes with a tint of green. Oh how he loved his eyes. "I-i."

"I... Like you Adam. More than like. I don't know if you feel the same about me. I don't even know if you're straight or not. I love you." Ty looked down at the tiled floor and twiddled his thumbs. It didn't take long for Adam to react. He simply opened the envelope which he had taken to the copier room and took out an old fashioned picture. It was fuzzy at the corners yet still recognizable. Adam gave Ty the photo without saying a word and leaned over the table, watching. It didn't take long for Ty to remember. It was of him and Adam, when they were first in 9th grade. Ty's first photo with the camera. The one Adam gave him for his birthday. He turned it over, brushing over the note written with his thumb gently.

Dear Ty,
Thanks for the memories. Now, it's my turn to return the favor. I love you man :)
Love, Adam

"It was supposed to be a surprise." Adam shrugged and smiled wildly. "It still was." Ty pulled Adam into a hug, becoming warm immediately by his embrace. "You know Ty, we still don't have a picture of us for the year book since I kinda wrote on it. How about it?" He chuckled lightly into his ear and pulled away, grabbing his camera. He stretched it out in front of them and made a face, Adam doing the same. Ty admired the photo once it had been taken, looking to the boy who has been his best friend since the beginning of this crazy high school adventure. "Happily whimsical." He muttered to himself, nodding slowly. "I'd say that's a keeper."
