She stood in the rain, tears streaming down her face. She stared silently at the solemn words on the gravestone, the one's she thought of. "I wish you were here.... that you never got hit by that driver...." After a while, she walked away, not noticing the lonely figure standing in the treeline. "I wish the same..." they whispered, before silently fading away.

The girl trudged home, wishing for it all to end. "Cyril..." she whispered her lover's name, the very one whose grave she just visited. "I just miss you so damn much...." She sobbed. Cars and people rushed by, their moods seemingly matching the dreary day. It has been two months since her lover was the victim of a hit and run, and three weeks since his death.

She finally arrived home, and after dumping her wet coat and shoes at the door, she collapsed on her couch, exhausted. Her phone rang, and she groaned. "all i want is 10 seconds of peace... hello?" As she talked to the person in the phone, she didn't notice a pair of eyes watching her every move.

After a while she put down the phone, and settled down to watch a show, when she felt a chill run down her spine. "Damn heater," she grumbled, throwing off her blanket to go fix it. As she walked down the familiar hallway, she realized that something felt...off...

She whirled around and turned the light on, and seeing nothing, heaved a sigh. "I'm going crazy..."
