Chapter 2What a hell of a game it was tonight. Joining the football team was the best advice Harvey had ever given me. It was our last game of the season and we had beaten our long time rival, The timbers 23-13. Damn it felt good playing out on the that field. It's like my second home. I felt unstoppable, and I'm not just saying that cos I ended up injuring 2 timbers. We had brought home the championship and you know that means partying all night . We led a whole mob of roaring fans from the field to the team captains house for the after party. My bestfriend Emmett who also played on the team was wasted on a couch. I was on my 10th or 11th can of beer and I felt absolutely nothing, not even a bit tipsy. It had been like this for 2 years now. Sometimes I wonder what's the point of drinking alcohol if I can't puke my heart out like the rest of the guys or have crazy drunken sex in someone's bed. Yeah I have my crazy sex fantasies too.It was getting late and I seemed to be the only one bothered by how loud the music was. They say if you complain about loud music, you are too old. Then you could categorize me as an elderly because I had enough of the techno type beat banging in my ears. The smell of vomit was stuck up my nose. It bothered me to the point that I'd body inspect myself several times looking for vomit.I honestly did try to enjoy myself as this was a victory party, but something was just off with me. I grabbed Emmett who was sleeping in his own vomit and put his arm over my shoulder to carry him home. Now Emmett moved in with his grandma Mrs.Patterson when his parents died in a car accident 6 years ago. So yeah, that means he's my neighbor. Now I know Mrs.Patterson would kill Emmett for being drunk and torture me for letting that happen, so I took the liberty to take him to my place instead and phoned Mrs.Pstterson and fed her a little white lie. I started to feel better in the comfort of my home. I was still overwhelmed about winning the championship, that I couldn't sleep. I didn't feel like gaming or watching TV, fearing that it might trigger me again, so I sat out on the porch in an armchair and began to star gaze. I noticed it was a full moon and my eyes couldn't escape the sight of it. I kept staring and staring until I lapsed into a feeling I hadn't felt in over 9 years. I was at peace again and felt my heart beat, and strangely another heartbeat too. I mean their was no doubt it was Emmett's. We were the only ones home. My parents were working late. Even though it was weird, I was too bliss to care about how strange it was to hear someone's heartbeat, from where I was. What I heard next changed my blissful state of mine into panic as I heard a third heartbeat. I rose from the chair silently to try and spy on the perpetrator. I slowly made my way in to the front door and I saw a figure facing away from me. It looked like he had something in his hand. As he turned around and revealed what he was holding to be a portrait of my parents, I recognized the face. I stood there in disbelief about how he hadn't changed a bit. It was like looking at a memory of 2008, but this time I spoke and asked him who he was. He showed me the photo of my parents and said "This here. It's a lie" and he teared the picture in half before reducing it into tiny pieces. I did not stop him. I was curious .Before I could open my mouth he told me to take a sit, they are about to walk in. It seemed that I had lost my random super hearing ability as I did not hear my parents come in through the driveway. I sat down as he had instructed me too and waited for my parents to come in. As the door handle begin to turn, I expected for something dramatic to happen and it certainly did, Harvey looked at Rachelle in her eyes and told her that it was time. I did not expected him to say that and Rachelle just broke down in tears as Harvey held him. I was so confused. I did not know what was going on and demanded an explanation. My parents sat on a couch right opposite of me."Nice to finally meet you little brother. Call me Chase."said the man.."brother??" I replied and look at my parents. I figured um well okay I have a brother who has been on the look out for me in years and only decides to show up and introduce himself tonight. Well that's what made sense to me. But it didn't make sense as to why Harvey said it's time and why Rachelle started crying. What I was about to hear next was completely out of this world. "Do you believe in the supernatural?" Asked Chase, with a grin on his face. I thought this was a trick question of some sort. I laughed for a bit until he grabbed Harvey by the neck and helled him up with one hand. The fear started to kick in while Rachelle cried for Harvey."Listen to me!!" Said Chase who was no longer smiling " I'm going to tell you this once, and I really don't like repeating myself. You are a werewolf, and so am I. Our Father gave you up to these two love birds 17 years ago because he had to for you safety and now our dear old man wants to meet the runt of the litter." As he finished his phrased, his hazel green eyes had turn into bright blue and was glowing and you could notice he had claws piercing through Harvey's skin who had now passed out. Chase dropped his almost lifeless body onto the floor and told me to come with him or he'll do the same to Rachelle. I couldn't do anything but agree with him and then he left saying he'll be back same time tomorrow night but he'll be watching. I can't describe how I truly felt. I saw what he did, it was hard not to believe him although he didn't change into an actual werewolf. But no human carries such strength and how can you even explain the eyes through science. The thought of leaving the family I had known my whole life for a new one was heartbreaking for me, but I didn't want them getting hurt. It already looks like he'll do anything to get me to go with him. As soon as he left, I locked the door behind him and Rachelle got Harvey in bed. I went up to my room and found Emmett sleeping on the floor like a lifeless body, I didn't bother to move him and jumped straight on to my bed.
