Ghostly Tour

Chapter 2

"I don't know what we should do guys" I said flopping down onto my bed "we've been at this for over an hour and still nothing, what am I going to do if they find out my secret." Tucker suddenly jumped up from his spot "ooh I know we could say that you where bitten by a zombie and you can't come because you would infect everyone trying to eat their brains, pretty good excuse right" "ummm no" Sam said "but that does give me an idea he could pretend to be to sick to go and then he would be able to be in the ghost zone as Phantom and everyone would think he was here puking his guts out." Tucker sat back down and said "yeah but my idea had more flare." I sat up "that could work and I could come as Phantom and help keep everyone safe I could be like a tour guide of the ghost zone for everyone" with that Sam and Tucker left to prepare themselves and me to get ready my things.

It was finally the day the day my class would be going into the ghost zone.  I had to play this right to make sure that my parents didn't find out I was faking I just had to play sick for one hour till my class got here in half an hour Sam and Tucker would get here so we could go over the ghost hunting devices and have them help keep my parents out of my room.  I walked down to the kitchen where I knew they would be eating breakfast I wrapped the blanket I had around me a little tighter and as sickly as I could I said "mom dad I think I might be sick" Jazz who we had filled in on the plan jumped up and started feeling my forehead and gasped "he has a fever Danny you need to get back to bed right now" covering the laugh I had with a fit of coughs I said "but I was so excited to go on the field trip"  "well I could stay behind to care for you" mom offered " no no they need both of you to keep them safe" I said "and I can take care of him I wasn't going on the field trip anyways" Jazz said helping my case I coughed again for good measure "I guess I'll just go back to bed then be sure to be safe" "okay we will I hope you feel better" mom and dad said looking a bit worried. As I got into my room I heard the front door open it was probably Sam and Tucker hearing the steps up the stairs and just before my friends came in proving my suspicions. "Wow you must be good at acting dude they almost didn't let us up here" Tucker said sitting on the end of my bed Sam cut in after closing the door "yeah maybe instead of an astronaut you should become an actor." "Guys come on we still haven't figured out how we are going to have me introduce myself and get them to follow me how do we even know they will recognize me my whole outfit has changed since I became ghost king and my mom and dad both still want to rip Phantom me apart molecule by molecule" I ranted feeling quit stressed I mean what if they shoot me and I change back or something happens to everyone  "Danny stop thinking about everything that could go wrong" Sam said I looked away "I wasn't" "sure man and I'm batman" Tucker said back "ok ok so any ideas or should I just float up from the ground and start acting like one of those overly happy tour guides" I said " That could work except don't act like one of those tour guides because they're annoying" Sam said. Just before we could do anything else we heard a yell from my dad "Sam Tucker everyone's ready come down to the lab" feeling a bit panicked I quickly said "ok you guys have everything you need right" as they where leaving I heard them both say some form of affirmation this was it I would have to convince them to follow me now I just hope nothing too bad happens...
