What happens when newly appointed ghost king Danny Phantom finds out that his English class has been given the honer of taking a field trip through the ghost zone. How will he manage to keep everyone safe and not reveal his secret.

when I woke up I felt weird my chest hurt and I was lying down
But wasn't I about to tell the kids in my class about the Fenton bus. I looked around and noticed mom sitting next to me asleep in a chair, I looked at my hand "shit" I mumbled this was not good I wasn't in ghost form and my mom was right next to me and to top it all off I didn't remember what was happening. I jumped out of the bed, which I recognized as my own from the castle, and winced a bit from my injury. I really needed to figure out how I got this and why mom was in my room. "I'm going ghost" I said quietly as I went down the hall. As I got closer to the dinning hall I heard voices and decided to turn invisible so that I could try to gain some information as to what happened and try to get Tucker and Sam alone so that they could explain everything. when I went in though I heard something I never thought I would.
"I can't believe that Fenturd turned out to be the ghost boy" day said loudly to his group of friends
Paulina just sighed lovingly "I always new that Danny was amazing I can't wait to see him again"
I noticed Sam and Tucker apart from the crowd in a corner probably talking about what had happened which I guess what ever it was involved my identity being exposed to the entire class. I groaned quietly "great now I have to deal with this mess"
I flew over to them and whispered "hey guys meet me in the library"
They both nodded, though they seemed a bit alarmed that I was already out of bed, and made their way to the library as inconspicuously as they could.
When we got there I landed on the ground and became visible "so what happened?"
they looked at me weird "you really don't remember?" Sam asked.
I shook my head "the last thing I remember is that I was going to tell the class about how the Fenton bus might take a while to be fixed and then I woke up in my bed with this" I gestured to my heavily bandaged midsection "so what did happen"
Tucker looked over at Sam then started "well dude you where telling up about the bus thing when your mom and dad kinda went crazy, your mom actually managed to hit you too,"
Sam cut in nodding in a almost solemn way "yeah and it must have been a new type of gun because it was really strong it managed to knock you unconscious for three hours. It even turned you back into your human form" she sighed "your mom took it really hard when she found out that you where the ghost that she shot, she hasn't left your side since it happened."
"Yeah I saw her by my bed she fell asleep it was probably a lot to take in." I rocked back on my heals and sighed "this is a huge mess what am I going to do?"
Sam punched me on my shoulder "No, what are WE going to do."
While I winced Tucker threw his arms around both our shoulders, "Yeah dude we've got your back no need to get stressed just yet."
