Chapter 10: Why?

A few weeks passed since the last incident. Kalis father finally allowed her to be out of her sights. Johnny had been given a microphone that hooked up into the inside of his jacket, it was used to call for help, if they needed it. Kali was enjoying the freedom much more then Johnny thought she would. "We went skating, swimming and to the movies. All in one day so far... It's not even three in the afternoon Kali" she just smiled and grabbed his hand. "Well we can go to the arcade. Grab a burger... Maybe play some games if you want" he smiled. "Yeah that sounds great"

"Woah! Watch out!" The two were in a shooting game, trying to hit the enemies"Watch your back" Kali stated as she took down a couple targets for Johnny. Once the two had finally lost, Johnny looked at Kali "How did you become such a good shooter?" "My dad is a mob boss... You don't think I haven't shot a gun before?" She looked at him "What? You've shot a gun?" She nodded "My dad had me do it at the shooting range. I'll have him let us go there. If your interested?" She questioned "Would I ever be" she smiled and then scowled suddenly

"Logan is here... And he is coming out way." she muttered. Johnny turned and suddenly curled his arm over Kali's shoulder. "Kali, Gerald" "Johnny" Johnny replied. He really hated this guy. "Yeah whatever.... So what are you doing here" he questioned, watching them closely. "None of your business" Johnny replied as he stood at his tallest, keeping his guard up. "Johnny... He's not even worth it. C'mon. Let's go somewhere else" Johnny nodded as Logan stood there, he watched a small cub wonder out from behind a game and bump into Johnny, he smiled and walked away.

"Excuse me... " A small voice said. The two looked down as the small cub spoke again "I can't find my daddy" he stated as Kali frowned "Oh hunny.. what's he look like" the small cub looked around as he thought "He looks... Like me I guess. But bigger" Johnny and Kali looked around as Kali took the child's hand. "We will find him" she smiled as the three started looking around.

"Daddy!" The small child rang as the father and son were reunited. Johnny and Kali were a bit reluctant to return the child to the large bear, since they experience with bears wasn't the best. But the dad seemed to be... A cool guy "Thank you so much... It was hard to find him here" "No problem... We better be going" Kali smiled slightly as she tugged Johnny along. "I don't feel comfortable.. I think we should leave." 

The two stepped out of the arcade and then started walking. " I'll feel better when we get home" she stated She her hand squeezed Johnny's. Logan who had been watching the two stepped out from the alley and bumped into the couple. "Oops" he stated but the two had no idea what was going to happen next. A large can pulled up, swinging the side door open, as large hands tugged the couple in. Their screams were muffled before theirs eyes grew heavy and they blacked out.

Johnny's eyes slowly opened as he tried to focus on his surroundings, then his eyes finally opened, he found himself in a large bar cage. He grabbed onto the bars and looked around before his heart stopped "Kali!? Kali?! " He yelled. Her arms hung over her head as she was hung at least a foot off the ground. "Shit..." He attempted to think before a door opened. He looked around. Most parts of the room were dim though the male found the figure moving before it came out of the darkness "Logan... What... What are you doing hear. " Logan snorted as he shook his head "Shouldn't you be asking why your hear" he questioned as a groan caught his attention "Now hush" he stated as he pulled his through the bars and tazed Johnny, making the poor male fall into the ground in pain. He watched him for a second before running over to Kali. "Kali! KALI are you okay?" Logan asked as he released the rope. It seemed he wanted to look like some type of hero. "Mmm what? L-logan?" She questioned as he undid the ropes. "Yes... I'm here we gotta go" she looked around slowly "But... Johnny" she questioned confused before her eyes eventually found him. "Johnny!" She ran to the steel bar cage "Logan... We gotta get him out... We gotta find a way in"

Logan sighed, damn girl it's always Johnny this and Johnny that "hmm... Yeah" he stated as he walked back over to her "I found some keys. Let's try them" Kali grabbed them from him and then started to try each one. A click rang in her ears as she pulled the door open "Johnny. Johnny" she shook him as she rolled him over. The door suddenly slammed as her eyes rested upon Logan "Hey... Hey... What are you doing" she asked as he sighed "If your just gonna keep going for that kid... Then why should I bother. I thought me saving you for once would make you fall in love with me. But no... Well to bad for you. Those bears will be back eventually. I'd hate to see what they are going to do to you two then. But... Later... I got to meet up with my dad"

Kali panicked as she went through her pockets. Her phone was gone. She pushed on Johnny again before noticing the small microphone in his jacket "Dad" she cried as she sat there "Dad... Please help.. I'm scared. I don't know where we are"  she panicked into the mic. A small beep was sounded "Kali... Calm down. Where are you" she hyperventilated for a second "I dont know... But... But Logan knows...Dad he was here... He... He was and he left. He left us! He set us up" she cried as she held Johnny "and Johnny won't wake up... He is breathing but... He won't open his eyes" the two father's stood there, both hearts breaking, but intentions rising as they looked at the group before then "Mark... Find your boy" James stated as the hunt was on "Hold on sweety.... Daddy's coming...After tonight you won't ever have to be afraid again"
