Chapter 25: Then there were four

BD almost lost himself as she cried against the door "Help... Help... Ah! " She cried before she leaned down on the floor "no no... We gotta get you to the hospital " BD stated as he attempted to help her up, but due to his bad arm, he couldn't use his full strength "Ah! " She cried again as BD pulled out his phone "James! Get home! She's going into labor! She can't get up and my arm won't let me... Ah ya! I'll call him!" He hung up and dialed another number.

Johnny's phone rang as he sighed "It's my dad" she stated as he answered it "Yeah dad... W-what?" His eyes widened as he started towards the door "I'm coming" "Johnny where you going?" He stopped and turned towards them "Kali's in labor at the house... I gotta help her" he stated as he left.

James put a few pillows behind Kali's back. He had called a babysitter to take Jack. "the doctor is on the way" she panted a bit and cried "I want this thing OUT!!!" She cried as the two dad's tensed up. They were scared shitless. She hissed as she shifted a bit "my back hurts... Dad... Please. Please can... Can you help me to the couch. " James straightened up and then leaned down and picked her up. She gave another agonizing cry as he ran to one of the spare bedrooms. He placed her down, making sure she had comfort before encouraging her.

Johnny parked the car before ripping out the keys, he ran I to the house as he came face to face with his dad "Where kal-?!" A loud cry caught his attention. He turned as he scrunched down "Coming through" the female fox stated as she had pushed passed Johnny. She walked to the noise of the crying as James had been kicked out.

Johnny flinched after every scream. He paced back and forth as she bit his lip. It didn't take to long a good two hours, but after a while, the female fox walked out and smiled "Mama and baby are doing good, but mama needs rest. She's quite weak. It's a good thing you called. She was doing alot of the work on her own. But she did good. So... Whomever is daddy... Go ahead" Johnny nodded and headed down the hallway, he stopped at the door as he smiled and watched her for a second before coming in "Kali? Are you okay?" " He questioned a bit meek "Yeah... I'm fine" she stated. He noticed she was quite sweaty and looked exhausted "So... Um..." She smiled as she pointed to the chair, that was covered in blankets. But he could see the dark fur swaddled once more "So it's-" "She" Johnny swallowed as he turned to her "She? It's a girl?" Kali nodded as Johnny smiled. "What do you want to name her.... I picked Jack's name. You can pick hers" he sat there as he looked at the small baby before picking her up "Hmm..."
