A/N: Gosh it has been positively ages since I've posted anything. Well here is a short little story I wrote about TenPetals (that's RosexTen I've seen both ship names used) earlier this summer. I'df almost forgot about it but just found it again.

I'm sorry I can't update anything too much. My life has been positively insane recently. Hopefully I will get back to writing soon. I'm slowly making progress on the next chapter of TDHIRL.

Thank you for your patience with me and enjoy this little fluff piece.

The Doctor quietly takes off his converse so his shoes won't squeak on the floor. He grins mischievously as he spots Rose down the hall. She's reading another book. He guesses it's another of his Agatha Christie mysteries. Rose loves those books. Maybe he'd take her to meet Agatha one of these days.

He snuck up behind her, careful not to make a noise and trying not to giggle at his childish plot. She never saw him coming. He swooped in and stole the book and made a mad dash down the hall.

"DOCTOOOOOOR!!!!" Came the surprised yell from the girl.

He whooped loudly and continued to run. Left. Left. Looooong straight stretch. Right. He heard Rose start to laugh as she pursued him between yells of "DOCTOR GIVE ME MY BOOK BACK." and "C'MON IT WAS JUST GETTING TO THE CLIMAX YOU GOOF."

He'd carefully made sure to keep his thumb on the page she'd been on so she could find it when she eventually got it back. He saw the doors to the simulator room and burst in. Rose followed. The simulator room changed to a huge grassy meadow with a clear August blue sky.

The Doctor ran and ran shouting "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN ROSE!!!"

She slowly but surely gained on him as they ran through the grassy field. Rose was reaching out her hand, just about to reach him. When either by a complete random accident or the TARDIS' meddling, The Doctor tripped on a gopher hole and toppled. Rose having not had time to pull up toppled with him. They rolled down the hill until they came to a stop in a bit of a heap.

Rose blushed cherry red at how close they were. The Doctor felt his own cheeks grow hot. He stared up at her, the simulated sun glowing behind her tousled blond hair, shining through and giving her an angelic appearance. A swelling of love flew through his chest and his hearts beat a little faster.

Then Rose got her sass back (though the flush in her cheeks remained) and said "HA! Pinned ya again"

It was a game they played back and forth, quoting the Lion King at as many opportune points as possible (which had started shortly after his regeneration). The Doctor felt himself grin widely and then his blush continuing tickled her waist. She squealed with laughter and fell off to his side, now guarding her ribcage with her arms.

"NOT. FAIR. DOCTOR."

"ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE IN WAR ROSE. FAMOUS QUOTE THAT ONE IS. YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO IT SOMETIME." As he now had put aside the book (marking her page with a blade of grass) and attacking her with tickles.

She fought back valiantly tickling him as well until both were crying from laughing so hard. Finally they just laid down in the grass and watched the clear blue (fake) sky.

Then Rose stopped and went "Awww I lost my page."

Her smile faltered a bit. The Doctor grinned more and reached over to grab the book. He skooched himself over next to her and place the book on her stomach.

"I marked it!" He said, very pleased with himself a satisfied grin spreading over his face as he saw Rose's smile of delight.
