Dressing and Eavesdropping

A/N: I am just going to skip to the point- I don't own anything Rick Riordan does and I know this is a pretty bad book and you only read because you fell sorry for me. I think that all so let's get right to...... TRATIE!!!!!!

Katie's POV:

I awoke from my dreamless dream and saw a boy laying in the bed next to mine watching me. I was worried for my sister and where she was and who this man was and why he was watching me.

"Where is my sister Miranda and where am I? Who are you and why does my side not hurt like crazy from that mutant dog?" I asked and he just laughed at my little comment. 

"First things first, I'm Travis Stoll and about your sister she was taken to my cabin with my brother earlier. For the rest of the questions will just have to what till morning because I don't fell like answering them when I'm sleepy," he said with a smirk on his face. 

Travis had bright blue eyes and brown curly hair. He was cute and- what am I thinking I don't even know him and I am thinking this. The dog might have done some damage to my head while I was out because I would NEVER fall for a cute guy with very good looks and- stop Katie you won't have him, you will find someone better when your older.

"Ok and my names Katie Gardner hope I can see my sister in the morning too. If not I am going to hurt somebody. Night Travis," I said as I face the other way. I was sure he was looking at me until I finally heard him go to sleep and thankfully he doesn't snore.

I close my eyes and slowly drift off into a dreamless sleep once more.

Travis's POV:

I woke up to see Katie ,the angle, at my side on her knees shaking me awake. When she moved her hand away the skin she had touched on me was cold and alone. I dismissed it quickly and got up and she did the same.

"Yes Katie dear what do you want?"

"You said in the morning I could see my sister. I want to see if she's ok."

I looked over at the clock and it was 8:25 am. It was 35 minutes before breakfast and she was still in tattered clothes. I divided to bring her to my cabin and have the girls dress her. 

"Come with me to the visiting cabin, aka my cabin. The girls there will know where your sister is and will find you some clothes before breakfast," I said walking out of the room hoping she was following then I heard her behind me. 

Katie's POV:

We were walking for a minute or two in complete silence and it was killing me. I needed to know more about him. That's when I had an idea.

"Hey Travis do you want to play 20 questions? I am getting kind of bored," asked being very very bored.

"Sure. Was getting quite bored also," he said backing up to me with a smirk on his face.

"Ok Travis I'll start. Favorite animal?" I asked trying to think of a better question.

"I will have to say a fox because they are tricky and playful like me. Favorite color?"

"Green. Favorite food?" I asked looking at his dazzling blue eyes.

"Brownies. Yours?"he asked back.

"If you must know it's chocolate chip brownies so I beat you," I replied with a goofy grin. He smirked back that made my heart flutter for some odd reason. 

Travis's POV :

I love this girl. She's funny in an adorable way but I can't date her. Will would tell her about my past girlfriends and how the MY were dumped not long after I had asked them out. I didn't want to do that to this amazing wonderful girl so I just have to stop thinking about her. Yes, that's exactly what I'll do.
