I yawn and wake up to find that I was still on top of Shui who was fast asleep. I smile then get up and get dressed before grabbing my skates and phone. I sneak out the window and it was about nine in the morning do no one would be awake, I run to the front gate then climb over it and run towards town as I follow the directions on my phone to the nearest ice rink. I get there in just under an hour then walk in and see the place is pretty much empty since not that many people skate.
"Hey, can I help you?" a girl asks from the front desk.
"Um, could I skate here for the day? Like reserve it? I have the money," I say, "I just haven't been able to get on the ice for a while."
"Wait, you're Luna 'Fireheart' Fire! We know all about you here! I'm such a huge fan!" the girl says.
I giggle, "Wow, that's very flattering," I say and smile.
"Could I have your autograph?" she asks then takes a pad from her back pocket along with a pen.
I take them, "Who am I making this out to?"
"M-my name is Lily," she says.
I sign a page then give it back before reaching for my wallet.
"Oh, no! No, no, go right in, free of charge! You'll have the whole rink to yourself!" Lily says.
I look at her, "Why thank you, that's very sweet of you," I say then walk through the doors.
I sit on a bench and take my shoes off before putting my skates on and putting my hair in a ponytail. I walk to the entrance of the rink then take the covers off the blades of my skates and step onto the fresh ice, I stick my earbuds in and press play on my phone then put it in my pocket. I start to skate swiftly as Lily watched from the sidelines, I do a couple jumps and a quad, figuring out the choreography of my next routine once I get back into the competitions.
"The theme will be...comfort in love," I smile to myself and spin on my toes before continuing to skate, not noticing the forming crowd.
