The Fatal Meeting

Nyle's POV

The thundering sound rumbled the window frames of the nursery and I had only one thing in mind. Puppies!! I ran with all my  might to gather them who were howling and crying with their eyes closed. I prayed that it wasn't anything dangerous whatever was happening outside.

" Nyle!" I heard Lady Asberg call me. I got up with puppies in my hands and ran for the office. The smokes from the dining ground could be seen from the window. The horror was in front of us.

" Nyle!!"

I turned to see Lady Asberg standing, horrified at the current situation.

" We need to take the back door. You take the pups and I will try to get Dallas." she cried as she went for the door.

" No! Lady Asberg!!" I cried with pups in my arms.

" Trust me please. Go!" she said as she opened the door and went out without a second glance.

I took a deep breath and turned the knob of the back door that the front door opened with a burst and the explosion made the pups cry out louder than last time. I crouched down facing my back at the intruder and hiding the pups.

Please calm down! Please calm down!

I whispered under my breath.

" Scared and naive as always." The voice stated making me turn my head towards the source. My eyes grew wide as I saw the person standing in front of me was someone I thought I would never see in my life.

" Dumb as fuck too." he said smiling down at me.

" You..."

" Are dead. I thought so too four years ago but fortunately I knew what things would help me and hide me from you bastards." he said walking slowly towards me and crouching with me. His mossy green eyes staring back at me.

" The thing for what they atoned me, those taboo saved me, little brother." he snarled at him, " Made me powerful. Made me what I am."

" You will not get away for this."

He smirked.

" For what? Hurting the Luna or is it Consort that they call you? Another word for whore isn't it?" He said.

" Why are you doing this?"

He stood up and sighed. For the first time I noticed, he was naked. Like the day he was born and walked around without any care.

" That's a stupid question, brother. Why am I doing this?" he turned his head towards me and smiled which never reached his eyes.

" How about humiliation? How about looked down upon!! Made you feel like a shit that never should be touched!! Frowned upon just because I wanted one thing in life!! A mate who happens to be my little brother's pair! I did and learned everything I could for the Pack and what do they do?!! Banish me!!! Try to Kill me!!!" he screamed grabbing my jaws in a painful grip.

His eyes wildly staring at me with hatred and anger. The pups whimpered and his eyes went down to them.

" So now what, you're a mother?" he laughed walking a step back, " Dallas giving you good lovin'."

I glared at him.

" I know he's a good lover at bed. He makes you scream and your toes curl, doesn't he?" he said licking his lips, " Brother, thers's a reason why I wanted him as a mate."

" He can never be yours."

" I know that." he answered.

I stared at him shocked and filled with fear for the puppies. I clutched them as he looked at me menacingly.
