R5 : The Best Years of my Life

Chapter 1

Ross POV:

Hey I'm Ross Lynch and I'm 27. I'm in a relationship with this amazing girl that my family used to know and we would hang out a lot, before we went world famous and the fame kept us away from our home lives.

I used to be in a band with my siblings called R5. We had 5 great albums but when Riker didn't show up to our last concert everyone quit the band. I don't know why though. Something about him hooking up with this girl who he just met in Italy or something like that.

I still play music but not as much as I used to, I'm working on a lot more acting jobs and spending time with my love so I don't always have time for music.

Riker however is still being the world famous musician and is part of another band. It's called Riker. He's the lead singer and still plays bass. He has 3 other guys and 2 chicks in the band and they are pretty good. I've been to a couple concerts, but no one has to know that. 

End of POV

Ross felt his phone vibrate in his pants. He looked and the text he received from his lover. He didn't feel like texting so he just decided to just call his mystery lover.

Ross- Hey. Do you wanna go out tonight?

Mystery Lover-Sure Ross I would love to. Pick me up at 7.

Ross- Sure see you then.

Ross hangs up.

Ross' Thoughts- If I'm going to propose I am going to have to remind my family about her.She's so wonderful and beautiful, I don't know how anyone could forget. Well...never mind.

Rydel POV:

Hey I am Rydel Ratliff-Lynch and I'm 29 years old. I originally was just Rydel Lynch but once 'Ratliff', Ellington and I got married we combined our last names. Now that we're married it is a bit weird calling him by his last name because it is also mine.

End of P.O.V.

Rydel is fixing her hair in the mirror, waiting on Ellington, her husband. They were going to a dinner with some of their old friends.

Rydel- Hey Ra...Ell, are you ready to go?

Ellington- Almost I just need you to help me with my tie.

Ellington walks into the room Rydel is in, and is struggling with his tie.

Rydel- Here let me

Rydel takes the tie from Ellington and puts it on him correctly.

Rydel- There. Now you are ready for dinner with our friends.

Ellington- Thanks babe.

Ellington leans in and shares a short but passionate kiss with Rydel. She pulls away and smiles.

Rydel-I love you.

Ellington- I love you, too.

A/N First chapter re-edited. I will be going through the book and editing the whole thing. I haven't touched this since 2013.
