Chapter 4

Alex’s P.O.V

I cannot believe that Jack truly feels that way about me, I didn’t think anyone would feel that way about me, least of all, someone I’ve just met! I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him with everything I had. He seemed a bit hesitant, understandable because we were at school, but soon he kissed me back until we were broken apart by a stern cough. I winced and looked up, to find the head teacher staring at the two of us, me on the floor, and jack kneeling in front of me. I looked at the time, to see that it was halfway through 1st block. We got up, apologized to the head, and walked off, hand-in-hand.

Before we got to class, I quickly pecked him on the lips, and was taken aback when he slammed me against a wall. I opened my mouth in shock, and he took that opportunity to massage his tongue with mine. I pulled back, and saw Jack looking at me sheepishly. I squeezed his hand, and walked into class, the taste of his lips on mine. We took our seats at the back of the class, and he clasped my hand under the table. We got out our books, and started to work.  About halfway into the lesson, I felt Jacks hand on my knee. Then he started rising his hand, slowly. Oh god. Why was he doing this? I looked over him in shock and saw him working, but with a cocky grin on his face. I tried to move his hand but he kept it still, I leant back to get away, then leant a little too far and fell off my chair. I looked up and saw the class in hysterics, even jack was giggling. I would have been angry if anyone but jack had done that, but it was jack, so I just laughed along and got up.

Jack’s P.O.V

I am so happy I could cry. I’ve got a boyfriend, and its Alex! He’s so amazing; I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve him. I look at him then at the way our hands were connected under the table. I smiled; I can’t seem to keep my hands off him. I had an idea and put my hand on his knee and started moving it up. I saw him look at me in shock and I put my head down, trying to hide my grin with my hair. i felt him fidgeting and then I heard a crash as my hand left his knee. My eyes shot over and saw him on the floor, he fell off his chair. I couldn’t hold back as the giggles escaped me. He looked at everyone laughing in horror, but then he looked at me. By that time, tears were rolling down my face, he just smiled, chuckled along, and got up. I looked at him and he threw me a cheeky smirk.

“I hate you” he mouthed, poking his tongue out. I smiled and he grinned, then squeezed my hand again, I put my hand on his knee then he quickly pulled it off. “Don’t even think about it” he mouthed. I laughed silently. I looked around and saw Todd staring at me with an angry look on his face. I couldn’t understand why he was so mad at me, what had I done? I turned away from him and I could still feel his eyes on me. I tried my best to ignore it, and flicked my hair over my face.

Alex’s P.O.V

School was amazing, it went as fast as a heartbeat, but it was amazing. Just knowing that Jack was mine, made my heart so warm inside. God that sounded cheesy, but I don’t care. It’s true. We walked out of school, hand in hand, then I drove Jack home, then walked home. I was stopped in my tracks when I was nearly at my house, by no other, than Todd, in all his asshole-ness.

“The fuck do you want?” I said, then mentally slapped myself, I should know better than to backchat a jock. He raised his hand and I flinched, but he was just checking his hair. Then he grabbed my hair, pulling me closer.

“I have a proposition for you” he said softly, but menacing. I shook him off of me and tried to walk away.

“Uninterested, now let me go” I said, I know I sounded cocky, but I wasn’t in the mood for his shit today. I walked about 1ft before he grabbed me by the scruff of my neck, none too gentle.

“Ah, somebody’s grown some balls. But if you want to keep them, I suggest you shut the fuck up and listen to me” he growled. I swallowed my pride, folded my arms and shut up. “Good boy, now I have something I want you to do, there is a reward for you doing it”. I blinked in surprise. Todd giving me a reward for something? It was probably something embarrassing, but I wanted to know what this reward was.

“What’s the reward?” I asked, raising one eyebrow. He rolled his eyes looked into mine.

“I’ll back off at school, and I’ll tell the guys to step back as well.” He said with a serious look on his face. What?! He’ll leave me alone? I’ve wanted this since I joined the school!

“What is it you want me to do?” I asked, cautiously. I didn’t care how embarrassing it was, I’d do it. Anything to stop the pain these assholes caused me.

“Ah, that’s the thing, I can’t tell you that.” he said, with a smirk on his face. “It’s a yes or no, and you can’t back out”

My mind was going into meltdown. I wanted to be free from these jerks, jack and I could be happier, but my mind was turning into smush, dreading what it was.

“How long have I got to decide?” I asked, there was no way I could decide now! I felt myself shaking while waiting for that answer, those two seconds sure dragged on!

“One day, if you don’t, there will be a price” he growled. One day, okay, I think I can do this. I nodded and he walked off. I got home and lay on my bed. What will I choose?!
