New Girl

First Day

Hi I'm Vanessa. I'm basically an only child. My big brother Carter lives with my mom cause my parents are separated. My dad got really abusive when my mom left. He hits,kick,punches, and slaps me for no reason. I hate it. He makes sure to hit hard but not to the point where I can get bruises. He says he didn't want anyone showing sympathy for me. I also cut. It's just so hard to stop. I only cut on my upper thighs so no one can see. My dad just got out of rehab and he still hits me. He moved to LA to see my mom and try to get her back since he's "better now". I start a new school today and hopefully Carter goes here. That way I have someone to fall back on just in case I don't fit in. We don't live in a big home. It's really small. He says its temporary since he gonna get back with my mom. Yeah right. Well I'm at my new school. I hope I fit in. "Sweetie I told Carter to meet you at the door. He has the same schedule as you so just stay with him. Okay?" My dad says. I nod and walk off. I see Carter standing with 4 other guys. Their from Magcon too. I walk up and they all turn there heads. "Nessa!" He yells grabbing me. My eyes widen cause I can't breathe. "Can't...breathe.." I say and he releases. "Who's this?" Nash asks. "This is my little sister Vanessa" he says. "So she's off limits?" Cameron says. He winks at me and I giggle. "For you yes" he says making him pout. We all just talk and I decide to go put my stuff in my locker. When I get there 4 girls come up to me. "Hi there! I'm Terra, we were wondering if you would you know..be the leader of our group. None of us want to and since your new...." She says. "Sure...you guys aren't like the plastics are you?" I ask. They just laugh and shake there heads. We all have the same classes. Wow my first day and I'm the leader of a group.
•LUNCH
We were all at "our" table when Jack G comes up. "Meet me by your locker 6th period" he whispers in my ear. I nod and he walks away. "What did he say?!?" Terra asked. I think she is my best friend out of all of us. "He said to meet him by my locker 6th period" I said. They all go 'oooh'. Valerie shimmied and we all laugh. "You know that means your gonna skip school and go to his house right?" Fiona asks. "Yeah right, Carter would murder him if he found out. And besides its academics first" I say. They all shrug and the bell rings.
•6TH PERIOD
"Ms.Kilmore can I use the restroom?"I ask politely. She nods and I head to my locker. "Hey beautiful,I see you can follow directions" Jack smirks. "What did you want Jack,I have to get back to class" I say giggling. "Or we could ditch 7th and 8th period and go back to my place" he said smirking still. "Look Jack, I know this may have worked on the sluts in this school but I'm not one. Academics first. Sorry" I say shutting my locker. He grabs my wrist pulling me close. "Don't ever walk away from me when I'm talking to you" he whispered in a deadly voice. I walked away and thought about what the world just happened.
