Chapter 2

2: Time skip ~ 7 Years

Rin's P.O.V

It's been 7 years and I'm still waiting for Snowdrop to talk to me again. In 2 more days it's my 17th birthday.  I'm so happy that I'm 17. I'm planning on sneaking into the woods. Since demons live in the woods behind my house, it's forbidden for me to go in there. Maybe after lunch I'll go into the woods and bring Snowdrop with me. I went out into the kitchen and looked out the window. The Plum blossoms were beautiful. I walked outside and stood under the blossom tree. I put my hand on it looking up into its beautiful blossom covered branches. I had a vision. It was horrible. I saw my brother running away leaving only a note as a goodbye then I saw myself laying on the cold ground. My upper legs were cut on both sides same with my arms so I can't get away. At least, not without feeling a great deal of pain. There were 2 bandits. The one had the knife with blood dripping down it and the other had his hands out like he was about to claim a prize. Then I saw a face. It looked warm and happy. A smirk was plastered on his face as he held out his hand. His eyes were dark blue and his hair was black. He had fox ears. A half demon..? He didn't seem scary at all. He looked.. nice. I snapped out of the vision falling to the side of the tree. I brought my hand to my forehead.

What was that? I thought.

"RIN LUNCH!" Dakota yelled.

I looked to the house and nodded. I walked back and before I entered the house I looked back.

I wonder if he's out there...

After lunch I decided to draw him. Since I'm a really good drawer, I felt the need to draw him. The drawing was perfect. I then, added color. His eyes dark blue, his hair black, and his skin was like an olive color. He was a really cute boy.. I shook my head and slapped my cheeks.

No! You cant like him! He's a bad creature! I thought to myself.

"What ya drawing?" Dakota asked coming up behind me.

"N-nothing!" I said hiding the picture.

He tickled me making me let my guard down and he took it.

"What the hell are you drawing?!"
He said pointing to the picture.

"This is too realistic to be a fake where did you see him?! Where did you meet him?!" He asked.

I groaned.

"I had a vision okay? Now give it back!" I said taking it from him.

He sighed and went back to the kitchen. I got up and went to my room and went to sleep. I was tired. 

I woke up to see a letter on the table.
     
       Dear Rin,
I'm going away for a while. I won't be coming back sorry. Stay strong little sis

                Dakota

How could he leave me it was just like my.. vision. I cried and Snowdrop came up to me.

"Rin," she said. "It's time. Go out into the forest there you will find peace. Go Rin. You don't have much time!"

She fell. She was hurt.. how did she get hurt? I kiss her cheek and say

"What about you?" I asked.

I picked her up and ran to the woods. I ran and ran getting hit by a branch. I fell and dropped Snowdrop. 

"Snowdrop!!" I shouted.

I felt pain on my legs and then something cold running down it. I was cut and bleeding.

"Hehe look a helpless little girl" the one with the knife said.

"Let's have fun with her" the other said. 

Just like in my vision. The one cut me slowly and I punched him. He was sent back flying.

"Ass" I said.

"Woah she's a feisty little girl isn't she" the other said.

He put me agenst the tree. I cried.

"Let go of me!!"

I slowly gave up putting my head down. Then out of nowhere he was kicked to a tree. I looked to see who my hero was and it was the half-demon I saw in my vision. He looked down at me and held out his hand to me, smiling.

"Just like.. in my vision"

I gladly took his hand and he helped me up. I fell back down with my legs hurting. The cuts were deep. Blood continued to fall. He picked me up bridle style. My heart was beating fast.

Why.. why am I feeling this way? I thought.

He leaped up into the trees and leaped from branch to branch. It hurt but who.. is he exactly? And what is this feeling?
