Abruptly, I landed on my back next to Yusuke. Kurama and Hiei, of course, landed on their feet. "How did you two do that?"

Kurama chuckled, "The portal wasn't as painful as Baashti's transportation method. At the end, I felt a pop and that's how I knew it was over, so I uprighted myself." Hiei crossed his arms, "I'm just not an idiot."

My mouth hung agape at what I seen around us. Above us, lighting streaking across the night sky, but this was not like demon worlds. That lightning comes from the causality of countless numbers of demon energy and it forms bursts from the sky that is in the form of lightning.

This was different. It was pure like mine. Also, it was coming from the ground into the sky where it went in different directions across the vast horizon.

What really had me in awe was the lightning streaks were all multiple colors. Red, blue, white, orange, black and a plethora of other colors all chasing each other across the sky. The biggest bolts were green. My color green.

"Look, Katana. That one is the same color as yours." Yusuke pointed out.

Kurama agreed, "Yes. At least we know we are in the right place. The landscape here seems to hold the lightning as well."

I looked down. There was not a speck of grass, trees or even rocks as far as I could see. The land laid flat and it seemed to lead up to an enormous castle, which looked like it was made from metal.

Red lightning hit the castle and raced around the perimeter. After that a black bolt hit the earth and it lit up black. This was the most spectacular thing I've ever seen.

"We need to dodge the bolts as we travel to the castle. Be mindful of your surroundings." Kurama advised.

After dodging thousands of bolts and dozens of close calls to being struck, we reached the castle. I expected to have been intercepted by the demons at this point, but so far we haven't seen a soul. Lightning the color of yellow was running concurrent across the front gate. It was impossible to touch and not get electrocuted.

"Lightning is your thing, boy. Try to open the gate." Hiei nodded to me.

Tentatively, I reached out to touch the gate. The yellow lightning engulfed my hand, but it didn't hurt. I decided to counteract with lightning of my own. My lightning covered the gate and suddenly it flew open.

We entered into an open hallway with a dark green carpet on the floor. The walls had multicolored electric currents running through them. This whole place lived and breathed lightning.

We walked into a seemingly empty room. Here, the ceiling was open and the lightning streaks we seen outside were coming from demons standing on top of pedestals shooting them into the sky. The largest lightning bolts were coming from a long green haired demon wearing red pants and a red shirt.

He looked down at us after firing one last bolt, "Who are you and how did you get here? If you are friends of the witch, you will die immediately. State your business." The Ligetenatans glared in unison at our group.

"The witch is no friend of ours. She's killed my whole family and put a demon very important to me in a coma, of a sort. I hate her and I wish her a quick death. That's why we are here. I'm a Ligetenatan that was sent to demon world when I was an infant. I'm trying to find my birth family."

The Ligetenatan scowled, "Really? Let's see your lightning then." I pointed my finger and my neon green bolt shot into the sky.

A series of gasps echoed around us. The green haired Ligetenatan jumped down, landing directly in front of me. He towered over my small frame and looked at me with a pained expression.
