Ryan’s blood ran cold.  Someone knew what he was.  If information like that got into the wrong hands, his clan and he could be in complete danger.  Ryan had to ring Jeremy.  He was the Beta and also a person he could trust completely.  It was weird for him to trust Jeremy so quickly, because he could not trust anyone.  Not even his own parents.

Ryan waited patiently until Jeremy picked up.

“Hello, this is Jeremy speaking.”  He said quickly.

“Hey Jeremy.  It’s Ryan.  I have some bad news; someone knows about me being a werewolf.  The thing is I don’t know who.  The number was unknown and blocked, so I couldn’t trace it.  I don’t to get myself, you or the other clan members in danger.” Ryan said.  His voice trembled a bit.  He was scared with the sudden news.  He did not want scientists or doctors to be poking or prodding at him and the others.  He didn’t want himself or the others to become circus freaks.  If their secret got out, all their lives would change for not the better, but the worst.

“Fuck.  This is bad.  Very bad Ryan.  We need to meet elsewhere tomorrow, devise a plan and tell the pack.  Everyone’s secret is grave danger.  We need to get the person before they tell others about you and us.”

“Okay.  So we will meet somewhere else tomorrow and start a plan to track this person down.  I will try to think of things tonight.”

“Okay Ryan.  What about we meet where we first met? Tell me what you have come up with tomorrow night.”

“Sure.  I will see you there at 7 PM tomorrow night.  Goodbye Jeremy.” Ryan said.

Jeremy bid his farewells also and hung up.  Ryan’s mind was racing, trying to think of things they could do to track this person down.  It was dangerous for an outsider to have a secret like this.  It could turn ugly.

Honestly, it could be anyone who could know this secret.  The thing was, Ryan couldn’t think of people that had something against him.  He didn’t have friends inside or outside of school.  He only talked with teachers, pupils in class, his family and now his clan.

“Clan.  I, Ryan Parker, am a leader of a wolf clan.”

For Ryan, it was all of a sudden to become a leader of a wolf clan.  He knew nothing about being a leader or about werewolves for that matter.  He only knew about the stereotypical werewolf things that he had seen in movies, like Twilight (He hated that movie with passion).  He had such a huge responsibility.  Too much responsibility in such a small amount of time.  It worried him that something bad could happen and it would be his entire fault.  But never the less, he would work hard to be the best Alpha he could be.

It was two AM, when Ryan retreated to bed.  He stayed up to try to figure out a plan to stop this person.  He could only think of tracking the person down by using their phone number, trying to talk to the person more, to ask questions and trying to trick the person into meeting him.  But judging by the secret person, they sounded smarter.  So, he needed to outsmart this person, but how? He didn’t have a single clue.

He would need the help of his clan, as his mind alone wouldn’t be much use.  He would need the help of his clan to get the bottom of this dangerous mess.  And if he was lucky, this mess, he hoped, would be over soon.

If only it would be that easy for him and his clan.
