Alicia's POV
It literally feels like a dream at night, that I've wanted for so long. Why am I getting this opportunity? It's so bizarre. I was getting so deep into my thoughts that I jumped when I heard a voice. "Alicia?" Gabbie sang. "Sorry! I was in my own world." I said hesitantly, hoping she'd not be mad. She wasn't thankfully, she simply laughed. "Anyway, back to the question in hand, do you wanna be in my show tomorrow?" She asked, smiling at me.
I was so shocked. "Me?" I said, as if there was someone in the room. Gabbie nodded her head. I smiled so hard my cheeks hurt, nodding my head. "Of course!" I said shaking with excitement. "Wanna sing a song or two?" She asked, taking notes in a beautiful spiralled notebook. I made a noise that obviously signalled yes. I thought of 3 songs that I would want to sing in front of an audience. "Perhaps Ho Hey by the Lumineers. And we should totally do a duet - " "CLOSER!" Gabbie and I yelled in unison. "Who's the female who's the male?" I asked inquisitively. "You should be the female, you're more of a soprano." I nodded approvingly. "You can do another song if you want, be my opening act for Ho Hey and another song then I'll come on at the start of Closer?" She asked. "Of course." "How about food to celebrate?" I asked quietly. It was getting close to dinner time. Gabbie nodded. "Where though?" I thought about it. "20 Chicken nugget sharebox seems like my sort of ideal meal tonight." Gabbie said. I smiled. "Let's get ready then Gab!" I said, as I got ready.
