I was overly self-conscious about what I looked like tonight. As I sat on the counter applying my eyeliner I thought of who would be there besides Maizy. Probably not many people because it was only the second football game of the season. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I didn't feel right being around her. I had no idea why but it was something I never felt before. I decided to ignore the weird feeling because I was probably over thinking it like I do everything. "Hurry up I want to get there before it starts!", my mom yelled down the steps. "I don't know what you're talking about I'm ready.", I said giggling. My mom stopped walking almost to the door looking at her phone. "WHAT!?", she exclaimed with a smile as she turned to face me still looking at the phone. "what is it", I asked in confusion. "Jamie wants to hang out with me tonight!", she said. She ended up dropping me off and going to his house for a movie. I felt kind of relieved that I didn't have to sit in the stands at all. I text Maizy that I was here and she said she was almost to the gates so I waited until she arrived. I was jealous of her before but seeing her that night made it worse. Half of her beautiful red hair was pulled back into a pony tale leaving the other half to sit gracefully on her shoulders. She was wearing a simple black and white warm looking dress. She walked up to me explaining that she looked like shit and of course I tried to convince her otherwise because that's the kind of person I am. She didn't seem to buy it as she started walking under the stands.
