"I know! It was so embarrassing!" I shrieked, covering my face with my hands and laughing.
I was currently on FaceTime to my best friend who was back in England. I had showed everything to her and I was now telling her about how Hayes and I met.
"I can't believe it tho! Out of every house in NC you moved in next to Hayes!!" She said.
"Well I don't think it's his," I laughed, "He did mention that he came back from the airport yesterday so I don't think he fully liv-" I was cut off by a loud knock at the front door and my little brother running into my room screaming "they're here!"
I said goodbye and ended FaceTime with Sophie before I grabbed my brothers hand and we made our way down the stairs.
As we walked into the living room, the chatter quieted down a little and my mum stood up from her seat, walking over to my 8 year old brother and I and introducing us.
"This is my 15 year old daughter, Carly." She smiled, putting her hand on my upper back. "And my 8 year old son, Harry."
Harry was, small, for a 7 year old. So when he wrapped his arms around one of my legs, his head only came up to my hips. And I'm 5ft2.
I smiled and said hi to Elizabeth and Johniee.
"I'm sorry, again, about Frankie! She's still not used to the new farm," I apologised for about the 7th time today."It's fine, don't worry about it really! I think Skylynn rather enjoyed it!" She laughed. Just then, the front door opened and Hayes, Nash and Skylynn walked in.
"Sorry Ma, Skylynn couldn't find her nice boots," Nash laughed, wiping his feet on the door mat and taking his shoes off.
"Nash, Hayes and Skylynn, this is Carly and her little brother Harry," Elizabeth ushered the kids into the living room and introduced us.
"I don't think we've met yet, but I've heard a lot about you," Nash smiled, nodding his head over to where Hayes had just walked off to and pulling me into a bear hug.
I laughed and said hi, letting go of Nash as Hayes walked out of the bathroom.
"Hi, again," I giggled. I quickly covered my mouth with my hands and shook my head with embarrassment, my face turning a light shade of pink.
Hayes slowly walked over, a slight smirk on his farce as he stretched his arms out and pulled me into a long hug.
"Hi, Carly," he whispered.
I quickly pulled away and turned to face everyone else. "Is it okay if I show Nash, Hayes and Skylynn around the farm?" I asked my dad.
"Sure C, why not show them around the track and barns to," my dad smiled, handing Johniee a can of beer.

It was a Wednesday evening. The sun and the yellow lights from the barn illuminated the stables around us.The resting horses nibbled on the remaining strands of hay, they stamped their feet and bit the wood of the stalls and rattled the halter chains. The sun had just started to set and the pink and red colours sliced in through the cracks in the roof of the barn and lay in light lines on the wooden walls. There was a buzz of horse flies in the air and the farm cats soft purring filed the silents.
From outside came the sound of the sheep and cows and the dogs running around through the long grass. But in the barn it was quite, warm and lazy.
And this is Frankie." I said as Nash lifted Skylynn up to stroke the side of Frankie's neck. The last horse on the row of five.
"This is so cool!" Skylynn giggled excitedly.
"This is only just the beginning," I smiled, tickling her belly as Nash put her down and she ran out of the stable and towards the little cat that was led on the highest part of the hay stack.

The light flickered on as I lightly flipped the switch which illuminated the grass around me. I put the key into the lock that connected the two big, green, metal doors and twisted it until it popped off. I placed the lock beside one of the doors.
"Hey Hayes," I called. "Do you mind helping me push these doors open?"
"Sure, no problem," he smiled and wondered over to where I was stood.
We both placed our hands on one of the doors each and began to bush. The green doors slid open and I reached for the light. As I pulled on the string a large gasp escaped Hayes' mouth.
