Damage

Johnny sat in his living room thinking about what to do when he realised it was her who arrested his father and uncles. She would surely know what happened to them. He reached into his pocket to pull out his phone but he felt a twinge of pain in his arm (he must've bashed it against the door his dad came through) which caused him to yelp in pain which made him feel weak, that he was feeling pain. He thought about telling Buster he'd be off for awhile but he could sort everything out now then check when he'd have to go to rehearsals. He tried again, slower, to get his phone out and it turned out to be a lot less painful. He pressed the home button and typed the number into his phone and pressed the call button. Ella answered with a "hello?" Then he started talking,"hi Ella it's me Johnny. You know those gorillas you arrested the other day?" "Oh hi Johnny! And yeah what about them?" "That was my dad. Now don't get me wrong I love my dad but I'm not involved in any way with his gang and stealing. I'm actually majorly against it" "that was your dad?! And yeah I could tell that you were against crime just by your voice, especially your (lovely) singing" Johnny had heard the last bit but mentioned nothing of it but he did mention something else though,"hey you got any advice on dealing with pain?" "Why did your dad hurt you? What's wrong Johnny?" "I was riding my skateboard earlier and I fell off. Whatever way I landed I damaged my arm in some way. It's not bruised but it really hurts" "oh jeez. You need to be more careful Johnny" "yeah I know. But I might have to get a doctor to look at it because I can't perform like this. Not with my piano anyway" "you perform?!" "Yeah for Mr Moon" "no way! Your boss was my brother's boss! You should ask him about a boy called 'Jay Skies'. My brother. He might remember him" "your last name is Skies?!" "Yeah so?" "Do you have a brother called Darren Skies?" "Yeah he's the youngest" "he's my best friend!" "No way!" "Yes way! Swear on my life" "cool. Well I gotta go. If your coming to see your dad I'll be there. I got promoted since I..arrested them" "don't worry your okay to talk about it" "oh thanks Johnny I lo...I mean I owe you" "what do you mean?" "Your the only person I know, apart from my brothers, who wants to speak to me" "oh really but your so....nice" while Johnny said that he blushed fifty shades of red and he was glad she couldn't see him face to face. "Well I have to get back to work. I will call you after okay?" "Yeah that's great" with that Johnny pressed the hang up button and got up. He, slowly, put his phone back in his pocket and grabbed his skateboard. He went out the door and started riding towards the prison...
