"Oh my!" I heard someone gasp, waking me up from my sleep. Feeling Dominic jolt next to me, I opened my eyes to see the palace's seamstress standing in the doorway.

My face instantly turned red just thinking about all the rumors that would likely fly around the palace if she were to tell anyone about what she saw. Although we were both clothed, by the second or third person that would likely change.

"I just came to get your measurement for your suit, my prince, but I can come back if this is not a good time," she replied looking at the floor.

"No, no, it is fine. We just were catching up and watching a movie and must have fallen asleep," Dominic said, sounding confident, no embarrassment found in his voice.

"No worries, sire, your secret is safe with me. Would you like me to take her measurements now for when she chooses one of princess Maria's dresses?"

"That would be great, thank you," Dominic said smiling at me.

Once she had taken both of our measurements and left, I looked at Dominic and said, "She knows doesn't she."

"Yes, but just her and Maria. Don't worry, she won't tell anyone," he said falling back onto his bed. "So, what is on my agenda for today?"

"Your favorite," I replied with a smile.

"No." he said putting his hand over his eyes and groaning.

"You get to go with your father to the council meeting and discuss new trade agreements and alliances," I said trying to hold back my laughter. "Oh, and look at this, you also will discuss what you want in a future queen."

"How long?" he asked, already sounding bored out of his mind.

Suppressing more laughter, I replied, "It is scheduled for five hours."

"Five hours!" he exclaimed, "What could there possibly be to discuss for five hours? Please tell me you are coming with me!"

"Nope, I will escort you there and meet you back at your room when you are done."

"So, what do you get to do all day then Izzy?"

"I don't have much to do, other than tidy your room and clean the bathroom, so I will likely go help my mother until you are done." I said before adding, "Or maybe I will take a nap or stroll the gardens."

"I would give anything to trade places with you for the day."

"Well, too bad. Oh, and look at the time, it's time for someone to make their way to council."

Dominic responded by continuing to lay on his bed, refusing to get up like a child. I groaned as I walked over to him and attempted to pull him up, with the intention of dragging him all the way to the meeting room if I had to. However, Dominic was much heavier than he was when we were younger and I soon found myself landing butt first onto the floor.

"Dominic, we really do have to go," I said growing irritated. "It would look really bad on the prince to be late to such an important meeting."

Muffled by the pillows, I heard a quiet, "Make me!"

"And just how do you suppose I do that Dominic?"

"Make me a deal," he said lifting his head up so I could hear him clearly.

"A deal?" I questioned.

"Yes, a deal. You give me something I want and I will go to the meeting," he said.

"What do you want? I am already going to the ball with you."

"A kiss," he said smiling.

"If I give you a kiss, then do you promise to go to the meeting?" I asked, feeling shy.
