Chapter 6
Leo's Point of View
I was actually really hungry. It was embarrassing how Stella was still in Bunker 9 when I fell asleep, but I trusted her. I usually don't like children of Aphrodite, but she was really starting to grow on me. I honestly regretted taking the couch; not letting her sleep there. I'm not even sure if she was able to sleep.
Gee- how to get a girl-Leo style.
Step 1) Make sure she is completely out of your league
Step 2) Start a small forest fire and pass out right in front of her
Step 3 ) Take her to your machine lair and yet again- fall asleep on the couch
And congrats! You have just successfully lost your chances with that girl!
Well- at least that's how I felt...but then she came to meet me at the forgery at camp...
The conversation went something like this:
Stella: Hey Leo! What'cha buildin'?
Me: Um...I'm good- how are you?
Stella: Okay? So I was wondering if you maybe wanna get lunch later at the dining hall.
Me: Really? You wanna go on a date? with- me?
Stella: Not really a date; just-
Me: Um I mean I'm perfectly fine with that! I mean- that's cool. See you at 2 o'clock?
Stella: Sure
And no matter how much of an idiot I seemed, she laughed as she left. I kinda just stared as she walked out of the building- smiling like a bafoon as the scent of her Camp Half-Blood brand of strawberry perfume stayed.
