"Hey, you remember when we first met?" he asked as I lay in his arms, my head reasting on his shoulder.

"Yes I do. How can I ever forget that day?" I smiled as I replied, remembering the scene.

"You looked so desperate to leave the city."

"You looked timid yet brave enough to have done something no one had expected you to have done it."

He giggled. "Yes it was."

I looked up at him, "That day, there was something about you that bothered me. I made me look at you more as I tried to look away from you."

"And that thing had brought us and kept us together even after all these years!"

I smiled and said, "Yes."

After a pause, he wondered, "What would have happened if we didn't do what we did then?"

"Umm.... probably right now I would have been with someone else and you with in some corner of the world with someone else."

He sighed and said, "I think that would be terrible."

I gave him a puzzled look and asked, "Why?"

"I can't imagine my life without you!"

I looked into his eyes that displayed nothing more or less than love for me. His true love. The love he was ready to die for. He was my love for whom I was ready to do any thing in this world.

He moved closer and fixed his lips on mine and we shared a sweet lovely passionate kiss. He moved apart and said, "I love you, babe!  Will you marry me?"

Tears pricked my eyes and I nodded and said, "Yes! I will marry you!" I hugged him and we shared another kiss!
