Why chickens are amazing

I have a lot of reasons why chickens are amaze balls so I wrote this list. If you believe me and already know how amazing chooks are then you can skip this (but still vote) these facts are in no particular order and I hope you enjoy.

Chickens are really cuddly. You may just think that that is only certain chooks but it actually is a true fact that chickens are cuddly. They may run at first but once you have them they are sooo nice. Even big mean roosters will be cuddly once you've got them comfy. Just don't cuddle them when it's hot, they might get heatstroke.

If you have chickens you get free eggs every day. Each hen lays approximately 300 eggs per year.

Chickens are great listeners. When you have a problem they will listen and they will comfort you. They may not understand what you are saying but can tell from body language that you have a problem and they really help. Trust me, I've told them a lot of secrets.

CHICKENS ARE DINOSAURS!!!! I know I've already said it but I wanted to point it out again since it is awesome sauce.

Chickens can be trained! I actually trained Captain before you know, she died. I taught her to come, sit and I even taught her to recite a dance number. Ahh she was my best friend.

Chickens are cute. You may just think that this is an opinion but how could you not think they are cute! With their cute little faces and cute little fluffy wing, and have you ever heard a chicken sneeze? It is so cute! So I had this rooster and his name was Salton. He was so pretty. He was all big and tough and manley and then I heard him sneeze and it was sooooo cute. I never looked at him the same again.

Chickens can actually recognise different foods and they know if they like it or not. Like how they follow me when I have an apple but not when I have a sandwich.

Chickens are really smart. My chickens can find the tiniest hole or gap in the pen to escape from. When I hold an ice cream tub they know I have the scrap bucket and they're getting treats so they line up at the door to get the scraps.

Chickens can fly but only short distances. Poppet once flew across the whole yard. She's amazing.
