Leaving destressed cries and confused murmurings in my wake as I fled the cafeteria at the speed of light. I drove home not wanting to stay at the chaotic hell hole any longer. sucks that today of all days that my best friend just had to be away, I needed someone to talk to and Thomas was at his grandparents house for some family reunion or something like that. It just sucks that his parents are that controling of his life that he isn't even allowed access to his cell phone. But that was because he snuck out to hang out with me this one time.
Thomas and I had been friends ever since the tender age of five when he moved here with his family. I saw some of the other kids picking on him for being new and different and at that point I decided to befriend him ... after my little spit fire self beat the shit outta the mean older kids. which of course got me in trouble and a long lecture from mom on how physically hurting someone was bad and that no matter how mean they were being that I shouldn't have hit them, but apart from that I received no further punishment.

On the topic of my mother, she wont be very happy once she finds out my latest predicament. But oh well such as life, I'm just gonna pray that I dont die.
My mother isn't an incredibly tall woman, she is average height for her age. Her big brown eyes, long, dark locks that reached her tailbone and her petite stature made her a very attractive woman. Most say that I look just like her except with shorter hair. In my opinion this statement is somewhat accurate, apart from one thing, my mother is a very attractive woman and I have the resemblance of a potato. I honestly dont care though because at the end of the day its the personality that really matters.
I mean who wants to meet an attractive person that someone might be interested in only to find out the inside is not as beautiful as the outside. There are only some that are exceptions to the universal rule, my mother being one of them. Thats probaly what drew my father in.

My father is a subject that I have only heard of apparently he left when I was born. Leaving my mother to raise me on her own, in the opinion of many that was a dick move. I however, have never met him nor do I wish to so I can't form a proper opinion. The dickheads at school seem to think that they have the right to start bullying me because of it.

School was business as usual only better because Thomas is here. He had met me in the hall with a huge smile that streched across his face so large that one can't help but smile back. As we cought up he told me about the reunion scowling as if the memory left a bitter taste in his mouth. Thomas hated his family basically because they were controlling assholes who needed to be incharge of everything in order to keep the picture perfect family façade that they lived and swore by. I also updated him on what happened when he was gone leaving not one detail out.

About lunch time there was a new arrival to our great school community.

Apparently according to all of the male population she's very attractive. A girl about my height with long, silky silver hair and a graceful prowl passed me in the hall. As she passed people they stopped to stare, some were curious others were just obvious lust.
It was third period when she approached me.The rumors hadn't done justice to her beauty. she had a beautiful figure and sharp cat like features. Her piercing intelligent eyes assessed me as she began to speak.
"Hi im Chevella".
I hesitantly took the hand that she offered.
"Jade" I replied.
