Chapter 7

I sat down at the table with the others and watched as they all ate.  I was not hungry, so I just watched them eat.  After they finished eating we went to the Lab.  Nick was given a case dealing with a Burn Victim.  While the rest of us had to figure out a way to put in the system that my Maker died without starting an investigation.  WE ended up telling the truth on a few things.  We told the truth on the part that he killed all of my Partners, that he found me in Vegas, and that he was killed.  We just had it written in a way that would make sure no one would look into it.

"Well, looks like we can work on other cases now!" Greg said with a smile.

I nodded as Grissom and Catherine passed out the Missions.  I sat back and watched as everyone got their Case.

"Do you mind if you just help us when we need you?" Grissom asked.

"I don't mind that if you don't mind me hanging around it from time to time!" I answered with a smile.

He nodded with a smile.  They left me in the break room where I stared at the Ceiling for hours.  If I was able to fall asleep I swear I would have.

"Lily, can I talk to you?" Sarah asked.

"Sure, what's wrong?" I answered looking away from the Ceiling.

Everyone was standing around with sad looks on their faces.  I got a bit concerned when I noticed that  Nick was standing in the back with a confused expression.

"What's going on?" I asked close to tears, "You're beginning to scare me!"

"We had a look at the Case dealing with your Family, and we don't know how to tell you what is going on!" Sarah said looking at Nick.

"Lily, do you remember what happened to your family?" Catherine asked.

Images of the mangled torn bodies filled my mind.  I could feel the tears start to fall.  Nick went to step forward, but Greg stepped in front of him.

"It appears that your sister was still alive!" Sarah said looking at me again.

"Where has she been?" I asked standing up.

"Because of your job the Police that found her thought it best not to tell you!  But she is here right now because here adopted Mother is the burned victim Nick is investigating!"

"How do you know she is my sister?"

"We just got the DNA test back!  We ran it to see if she was there also before the fire took half the house!" Nick answered looking away from me.

"Can I see here?"

"I don't think that is a good idea!"

"Why not?"

"She might not remember you!"

I fell to the floor and looked at them all with tears of blood streaming down my face.  Nick ran away from me.  I wrapped my arms around me as I watched everyone back away.  They said they were my friends, but they were still afraid of me.  I ran from the Break Room and bumped into someone.  I looked down at the person and saw my baby sister staring back up at me.

"L..Li..Lily?" she asked scared.

"J...Ja...Jane!" I said scared that she would run away.

"Lily, I thought you were never coming back!  I missed you so much!"

"I was told you were dead!  I missed you also!"

She wrapped her arms around me and held on for dear life.  I wrapped my arms around her and made sure I did not hurt her.

"Who are you?" An older man asked.

"I am Lily Stokes!" I answered, "I am Jane's Older sister!"

"Good, then you can take her!"

He handed me a piece of paper and a pen.  I filled it out without reading it.

"Have fun with your sister!" he said walking off.

I smiled as I held her a bit closer.  I carried her to Nick's SUV.  Nick was already there.

"Why are you sitting out here?" I asked confused.

He just looked at me with tears streaming down his face.  I nodded as I put Jane in the back seat.  I had Nick switch over to the Passenger Seat.  I drove all the way home.  A moving Truck was already there with Jane's Stuff.  We all moved her stuff into a Guest Bedroom.  After that we let her settle in.  We went to our room to talk.  As soon as the Bedroom Door was shut Nick pinned me to the Door.

"I am sorry that I ran away!  That I did not try to comfort you!" he said more tears streaming down his face.

I smiled as I pulled him to me.

"I forgive you!" I whispered into his ear.

"Will you turn me?" he asked pulling away a bit.

"Are you sure?"

He nodded as he pulled his shirt off.  I smiled as I felt my fangs grow.  I sank them into his neck and felt his Blood rush into my mouth.  It was like I was drinking an overdose of Chocolate.  It was great.  After he started to feel weaker I licked the entry holes and bite my wrist.  I pressed my bleeding wrist to his mouth and watched as he drank it.  It sent a shiver down my spine as he held my wrist there.  I pulled away when I knew he took to much from me.  I flew to the door and watched as he laid on the bed unmoving for half an hour.

"Well, that was different!" he said sitting up.

"How do you feel?" I asked as I flew to him.

"Lighter!"

He pulled me to him and kissed me with more passion then I knew he had.  There was a knock at our door.  I flew to it.  I opened it and saw Jane standing there with her old Teddy Bear.

"Jane, I would like you to meet Nick!" I said moving out of the Doorway, "He is my Husband!  Your Brother-in-law!"

She ran and jumped on the bed.  She wrapped her arms around him giving her the biggest hug I have ever seen her give.

"Nice to meet you, Jane!" Nick said lightly wrapping his arms around her.

"Nice to meet you, Nick!" Jane said pulling him closer with all of her might.

We went down to the Kitchen and told Jane everything.  As time went by we meet another Vampire Family.  I learned that my Blood can turn Vampires back to Humans.  All Vampires, expect my Family, turned back into humans.  All of my Family and Friends became Vampires.  Nick and I were blessed with a son.  We named him Vlad after his very Great Grandfather.  We lived our lives as normal as we could with us all being Vampires.  Catherine's Daughter was even turned.  We became a happy Family.
