My name is Jules May. When I was 12 I was in a car accident. I made it as well as my mum and dad without too serious of an injury but my older brother Henry didn't, he got brain damage. Henry was two years older than me and was the best brother anyone could ask for. He died three days later in the hospital. I didn't leave his side once until I was forced to.
After Henry's death, my family fell apart. Starting with my mum. She became depressed and couldn't look after herself properly let alone dad and I. Dad let her grieve but then became mad and they constantly fought until one day, the yelling stopped. It was then that I found out my parents were getting a divorce. My grades fell and so did mum's health. We did all we could to help her. A while after, social services came and took me away. Til this day I've been living with my grandma. Don't get me wrong I still miss my family, very much. But I love grandma, she makes me happy and I forget all the pain when I'm around her. She helped me get my grades back up, I made new friends, we cook together and I help her in the garden. She loves her roses, they're her favourite. She always says that 'you can't have beauty without pain, thus that's why a rose has thorns'. She's always so wise. She's the kindest, sweetest person I know. That's why it hurts so much that we're sitting in the hospital waiting room for the doctor to give us results.~Authors note~
Hey my beautiful angels, and demons (u know who u r) so I hope that you liked the Epilouge, the other chapters will be much longer. I just wanted to give you some background info. This book will be quite deep and a serious matter with heaps of emotion and pain. Please read the warning at the top. It goes for this whole book. You're probably wondering about my other book 'When life changes', I will continue on with it but I just wanted to start another book because my first one is doing SO well. I will try to update both regularly but in the mean time I need covers for both of them so that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to TaylorHancock9 for this one. Any others will be mentioned also.
Thanks for reading,
Love, ~L
