"Stark, give me a reading of the base." Steve calmly talks over coms.
"I'm getting heat signatures of 100 people, so far they are unaware of our presence." Stark reports. His infrared scans the building and locates Hydra agents.
"Well, we gotta get in there somehow. But they would be able to deflect our aerial attacks." Sam trails off after his statement.
"We can use the tunnels underneath the facility." Natasha points out. "That would be unexpected, especially for the Avengers." Clint smiles and nods. Everyone seems to be in agreement.
"Not everyone though." Bucky states. "We need to have an ambush style attack. If we only focus our inflow from the tunnels, that still leaves escape routes for them." Bucky shares a look with Steve.
"What do you think, Cap?" Tony gestures to Steve.
"Perhaps the best course of action would be a diversion, and an attack. It's a tactic I used on Svartalfheim... worked quite well, actually." Thor smiles to himself as he leaves his idea up for discussion.
"Not bad. It could work." Steve begins.
"Captain Rogers, I believe the combination of all of the ideas will work if done properly. Having Natasha's plan with select personnel, Sergeant Barnes's idea with an ambush, then Thor's plan with the diversion, would work most efficiently." Vision interjects with his calculations. "An aerial attack would be an intelligent course of action if we had knowledge of the enemy's weaponry."
"On it. Come on, Redwing, let's get some intel." Sam sends off his robotic companion to do an aerial scanning. "They are pretty advanced, Cap. Some of the tanks and air tech is of high military grade."
"I bet my tech is better." Stark resounds his snarky attitude.
"We need to divvy up." Barton interjects. "Cap, your call."
"Alright. Buck, Thor, Tony; you all enter through the back door. Red, Nat, Wanda; you go in the tunnels, you're all stealthier than the rest of us, they'll never hear you coming. Sam, Vision, and Clint, you guys are my eyes and draw out the airstrikes and diffuse their tech."
"Roger that."
"Copy that." Bucky replies with a confident nod to Steve. "Hey, doll." He inches closer to Belle so he can say her name without anyone hearing. "You ready?" Bucky kisses her head softly.
"Mhm." Belle says, obviously nervous by the shaky tone in her voice.
"That's not my confident girl, I hear. What's wrong, sweetheart?" Bucky wraps his arms around Belle as she rests her head on his leather clad chest.
"This is a HYDRA base...and I know they're still hunting you...I can't let them take you from me." Belle whispers so Bucky won't hear her voice cracking to keep the sound of fear hidden.
Bucky's expression morphs to a serious face, knowing well of the risk he is taking. But refusing to let his best gal be afraid for him, he shakes the worry off. "Belle, honey...don't worry about me. The entire team is here, plus, Steve is going to be with me the whole time. If anything, I'm worried about you!" He attempts to change the subject.
Belle looks up into his eyes with a small smirk tugging at the corners of her lips. Natasha returns from her brief with Clint. "Hey. Ready to move out?" She gestures to Belle.
Belle nods, "Yup." Nat walks over to Wanda to prepare her and go over the plan to avoid any mistakes. "Well, I'll see you inside. Stay safe...I love you, James." Belle's eyes fill with tears as she shuts them tightly and presses her lips against Bucky's. They kiss sweetly and with a needy lock.
