"why," taehyung huffed out a breath, "are you so late?"
"i'm sorry, i was-" she stopped and held out a hand and said, "let me calm down first." haewon had been running up until now, and just as she had arrived there, panting, taehyung immediately approached her, giving no chance for her to catch a breath.
she sat on the bench nearby, while taehyung chose to sit next to her, still patiently waiting for her to state her reason as to why she came an hour late.
"taehyung, i'm really sorry. i was too caught up doing my biology assignment that i didn't notice it was already this late. you didn't wait for me that long- did you?" she bit her lip, really hoping that he didn't.
but he really did. though he replied the opposite since he didn't want her to be burdened and guilty.
"no. it hasn't been that long."
"thank god," she sighed in relief.
"anyway, since you're here. should we do something?"
"sure. i'm all up for anything."
"let's sneak into the mall after midnight!" taehyung beamed excitedly.
"sounds fu-" she smiled too, but when his words finally registered, her smile slowly faded as she frowned in confusion.
"wait what?"
taehyung wiggled his eyebrows and grinned widely at her. "you heard me."
