Millie stared at Noah as he looked at the city in front of them. They were the best of friends and wanted to watch the city together. Millie stared as Noah's eyes gleamed at the city lights.
"You know these lights are as beautiful as me." Noah said to Millie.
"Well that's just terrific." Millie said kinda sad. Millie like Noah more than just friends. But she never told him.
"What's wrong?" Asked Noah, putting his hand on Millie.
"Nothing. Seriously." She said shy.
"What did you think I was gonna say you?" Noah said with a chuckle.
Millie got red. "WHAT? NO. NO! That's not what I thought."
"Good because I don't like you that way just as a best friend." He said walking back into the room.
"WAIT!" Millie said grabbing his hand.
"Yeah?"
"Umm I just wanted to stay out here a little longer you know."
"Umm. Sure yeah."
"Great. You know I'm scared of balconies but the lights are so beautiful I just wanted to be here, you know, with you."
"Oh ok."
"Thanks, Noah."
"Hey no problem anything for my best friend."
Millie smiled at him as they leaned back over the balcony. She turned to look at him and he turned to look at her. His eyes, his lips, she couldn't resist it no longer. She lunged forwards, and with a large push to him, her lips suddenly became attached to his. He looked with wide eyes. Confused.
"Millie. M-m-MILLIE!" He yelled.
Millie gasped. She couldn't believe what she just did. She looked at him tears filling her eyes. And as her heart began to fall apart she ran away.
