"We should start driving back, I have university tomorrow.." I told him and looked at him.

"Yeah, probably. I have to be at the studio and also I have got some meetings." He said and opened the car door for me.

I thanked him and got into the car, he closed the door, went around the car and entered the drivers side.

He started driving back and I leaned my head at the window.

"Do you want to come over at the weekend and meet my siblings and parents again?" He asked me.

"I'd love to! I really miss them.." I told him and started smiling at the thought of meeting this amazing family after all these years again.

"Great." He replied "I can pick you up?" He asked and looked at me for a short moment.

"I would really appreciate that, I am like lost in here." I lauged and shook my head.

He smirked and nodded.

"Give me your address and I will pick you up around 10 if that's fine for you." He said.

"Well...I need your address anyway so that I can take you home." He said and started laughing.

"Ohhhhhhh right!" I said and joined him.

I quickly told him my address.

Chris connected his phone with his car and started playing some music.

During the ride to my home we sang along the songs.

When we arrived, I gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, thanked him for the day and the ride before I left the car and went into my apartment.

I took my shoes and jacket off, put my bag away and went in the living room were I found Vanessa sitting on the couch.

I sat down next to her and put my hair up into a bun.

"And how has it been?" She asked curious, turned to me and turned the tv off.

I laughed a little. "It was..like a meeting between best friends." I answered.

"Really? That's it? C'mon, I'm not stupid, Soph!" She said.

My look got confused. "What do you mean? I'm serious, that's it. Chris is my best friend and nothing happened between us. I guess he's not even single." I told her and laughed again.

She raised her eyebrows. "I thought that ma-" She started , but I interrupted her.

"Look, as I said, we're friends, he's probably in a realationship, busy with his career or even both of it." I said and shrugged with my shoulders. "And I don't want to fall in love either after what happened in Canada." I mumbled and looked down at my hands.

"Sweetie, you gotta move on. He's a part of your past, this is our future! You can't hold back your feelings, just because of one stupid boy that didn't know how to treat a girl right." She said, came closer and pulled me into a gently hug.

I nodded and hugged her back.

She's the best, she's like my sister and I'm so thankful to have her in my life. She always knows what to say and I just love her.

"Thank you." I whispered and sighed.

"I need to forget him, to erase him out of my mind..you're right, I need to move on. I mean, we're in LA and I don't need a boyfriend to be happy." I said and smiled.

"See! That's way better!" She said and pulled away.

We continued talking for a while, then watched a movie until we got ready for bed.

The rest of the week was pretty ordinary.

We got some projects and went to our lectures.

I facetimed as often as I could with Chris and I was so excited to meet his family again tomorrow. They were like my second family back then and I knew that I could count on them.

But what if everything has changed and they won't like me anymore, just because I'm different then I was 10 years ago?

I shook my head. That's rubbish. Everyone changes, especially in 10 years. I'm 18 now, I'm a grown woman..well at least something like that.
